Chapter 100 - C 90(2)

"It's alright. You're my student. The teacher's role is only to guide their disciples," Jiraiya chuckled, then suddenly changed the tone of his expression.

With a mischievous grin, he put an arm around Minato's shoulder and said, "Alright, Minato, enough about training. How's it going with Kushina lately?"

At the mention of Kushina, Minato's face immediately dropped. He pulled out a book from his ninja bag with a sour look and handed it to Jiraiya.

"Mr. Jiraiya, please take this back. The methods in this book are useless."

It wouldn't hurt to return the book, because he had already read it—twice.

"Is it useless? It shouldn't be. This book is so well written."

Jiraiya thought, slightly frowning, then took out another book.

It seemed he had just bought it not long ago, and it still looked new. "Minato, look at this. This book is completely different from the other one. To be honest, I feel like this one is better written. After reading it, I feel inspired. Maybe it's time to write a novel myself."

"Then I congratulate Teacher Jiraiya in advance."

Namikaze Minato glanced at the cover of the new book Jiraiya had taken out, and though he wanted to refuse, his hand reached out almost instinctively.

After returning from Ryūchi Cave, Kain and Orochimaru discussed the follow-up matters.

The dragon blood and dragon meat in his possession totaled more than two kilograms. Since there are many types of dragons, and dragons are not rare in the Harry Potter world, Kain had plenty in stock.

These were enough for Orochimaru to consume for about two years. Orochimaru already had successful experience, and could make further adjustments from here.

As for practicing Sage Mode, Kain planned to leave Konoha Village before going to Ryūchi Cave to train.

The perfect Sage Mode could multiply the power of ninjutsu several times and also comprehensively improve physical strength, perception, resilience, and more.

The most important part was Ryūchi Cave's Sage Art, which could control inorganic matter—an incredibly powerful ability.

It was an offer Kain couldn't refuse.

However, he had to wait a few more days. Kain also wanted a flying dragon mount, something completely different from a flying broom in both experience and temperament.

He could even build a magic chariot for the dragon to pull. This was unimaginable in the world of Harry Potter because the fire dragon's nature was so tyrannical that even the most skilled dragon trainers couldn't completely calm it.

Yet, the fire dragons bred by Orochimaru were very obedient. As long as they were continually influenced by Chakra, they became as obedient as Ryūchi Cave's Summoning beasts.

It would take some time to breed special embryos, so Kain decided to stay in Konoha for a while. During this time, he could also learn the seal technique Orochimaru had given him.

Once Kain mastered the seal technique, he could cultivate a group of loyal subordinates when he returned to the Marvel world.

Those implanted with the seal would be constantly influenced by Kain's Chakra and become extremely loyal.

Furthermore, Kain was still waiting for the news about the medicine from the Land of Tea. If it was produced there, it would be shipped to the Land of Waves and then transferred to the town.

When the time comes, Kain will take this batch of medicines to the capital of the Land of Fire. Given the feudal aristocracy, it's likely they will sell out in a short period of time.

There are also herbal medicines in the ninja world, but their effects are nowhere near as powerful as Viagra.

Moreover, Kain also plans to set up a newspaper in the ninja world for publicity. To do so, he went to the Land of Fire to find the owner of Lichun Bookstore, hoping he could provide some support.

Public opinion is a powerful weapon for ninjas. A ninja as strong as Hatake Sakumo could still worry Rock Shinobi Jōnin five years after his death.

If Kain can control the channels of public opinion, it will be easier to deal with certain individuals.

For example, he could fabricate some damaging rumors about Danzo and spread them throughout the Land of Fire.

Once people hear them, Danzo will no longer be seen as Hokage material—he might not even be seen as a proper ninja. If that happens, everyone will boycott him.

If Danzo still insists on being a ninja, Konoha's reputation will be tarnished.

This is the power of public opinion. In a world where the ninja society isn't particularly enlightened, as long as one person leads the narrative, 90% of people will be convinced.

When learning seals at home, Kushina would often come to the back of the dessert shop to find Kain after a day of work.

Although she claimed to be there to buy desserts, Nanami and the other shop assistants were suspicious. After all, it was rare for someone to only buy a small box of desserts every day.

Kain welcomed Kushina's visits, not only because she taught him sealing techniques, but also because she had some involvement in the Barrier-sealing techniques.

According to Kushina, whether it was barrier or seal, both originated from the art of sealing, and when it came to sealing, no one could surpass her.

In Kain's opinion, this was a bit of an exaggeration. Kushina would have been qualified to say that ten years from now when she could bind the complete Nine-Tails with just one breath left.

At that point, she would have learned all the advanced sealing techniques. But at this stage, she hadn't mastered everything yet.

One night, after Kain had learned almost all the seal techniques under Kushina's guidance, he touched her beautiful red hair gratefully. "Thank you, Kushina. Without you, it would have taken me much longer to learn."

After all, it hadn't been long since he started learning sealing techniques, and jumping straight into sealing was indeed a bit difficult.

"It's nothing, just a small matter," Kushina replied with a smile, the corners of her mouth lifted.

Then, she seemed to remember something, placed her hand next to her mouth, and coughed twice as if clearing her throat.

She said, looking at herself: "It's just my neck and shoulders… they're sore. It seems I won't be able to sleep well when I go back."

"That's really troublesome. You should take a bath before going to bed," Kain casually responded.

But then, he suddenly realized something and looked at Kushina's evasive eyes. He thought to himself, is she mimicking him?

So, Kain tentatively asked, "How about I give you a massage?"
