Chapter 228 - C154(2)

With access to enhancements like the super-soldier serum, exoskeleton-assisted mechas, and intelligent combat systems under the control of the Red Queen, Kain could assemble a formidable force capable of eliminating large numbers of ninjas—except for the most powerful Jōnin or Kage-level shinobi.

However, for this plan to succeed, Kain needed to integrate the Red Queen into the ninja world by laying optical cables, developing the computer industry, and establishing the necessary technological infrastructure.

Without a vast pool of data, the Red Queen would struggle to analyze ninja combat styles effectively.

"Aya, from now on, Miwa will transfer all her current responsibilities to you. I have another task for her," Kain said, handing a thick document to Miwa. "This document contains a detailed development plan. Miwa, don't be stingy with funds—focus all efforts on developing the Internet and computers in the ninja world."

The document outlined a comprehensive development plan formulated by the Red Queen based on detailed information about the ninja world provided by Kain.

The ninja world already had newspapers, and television stations were starting to emerge. The Land of Fire had even begun constructing a television tower, though all of this progress was tied to Kain's support.

Without him, advancements like the TV tower would have been delayed by several years.

Two years ago, Kain had instructed Aya to swiftly acquire any media-related industry. Television towers and broadcast stations were among those acquisitions, and Kain ensured that he maintained control over these industries.

Now, Miwa's mission was to establish a computer manufacturing plant and begin laying fiber optic cables and signal towers across the Land of Fire.

The idea of launching a satellite was more complex. Kain had only brought 30 engineering robots with him this time, as maintaining the underground Hive base of the Pent Group was equally critical.

Bringing more robots would have distressed Anton greatly.

The 30 engineering robots would handle the critical components of construction, while local ninja-world workers would focus on simpler tasks like building rocket silo foundations.

If everything proceeded smoothly, Kain estimated that he could launch the ninja world's first satellite in under two years.

This is still a later-stage project. The robots have been working 24 hours a day, providing uninterrupted construction.

If all the engineering robots are used, Kain will be able to attempt launching the first ninja satellite in less than ten months.

By that time, the war should be completely over. Although the ninja world after the war may not be entirely safe, at least it will be a period of rapid development.

"That's probably all for now. Next, let's focus on what we need to do. I might stay in the ninja world for a while, so send me a message if something urgent comes up."

Kain anticipated being busy in the near future, with the affairs of the Daimyo's Prefecture in the Land of Fire, communication with the Terumi clan of Kirigakure, and dealing with Orochimaru.

Hearing about Orochimaru's performance on the battlefield in the Land of Winds made Kain feel a bit puzzled.

If Orochimaru didn't capitalize on the war's rapid progress, his apprentice, Nawaki, might surpass him in reputation.

Kain used Apparition to patrol the southern peninsula of the Land of Waves, the Land of Tea, and the Land of Fire.

Using Legilimency, he detected a few individuals with suspicious intentions, which he dealt with swiftly.

Fortunately, when he left, the war had already begun, and the major ninja villages were focused on each other.

Kain had transferred most of the important industries to the Land of Tea, which was relatively safe for the next two years. If not for that, Kirigakure might have tried testing him.

At night, Kain used the Summoning Technique to summon the little white snake that Orochimaru usually called.

He then placed a scroll into the snake's mouth and released the summoning, sending the snake back to Orochimaru.

After a while, Kain felt the reverse Summoning Technique signal from Ryūchi Cave. He summoned the little white snake again, retrieved the scroll, and sent the message:

"Meet us at Ryūchi Cave at three o'clock in the middle of the night. It'll be safer."

Kain checked the time—it was still a few hours before the agreed meeting time, but he immediately told the little white snake to summon Ichikishimahime in advance.

The little white snake nodded and performed the Summoning Technique.

Half an hour later, Kain felt the reverse Summoning Technique from Ichikishima Hime. This time, he didn't refuse and was directly summoned to Ryūchi Cave.

As soon as Kain arrived in the damp cave, he felt a familiar figure rushing toward him. A loli snake appeared beside him, sniffing his scent like a puppy that hadn't seen its owner for a long time.

"How can it become more and more irresistible? I really want to... I really want to take a bite."

Ichikishimahime's obsession made Kain uncomfortable. He pushed her away in disgust, but she floated toward him again, continuing to sniff his scent.

Kain wasn't sure whether it was her imagination or if something had changed in him, but Ichikishimahime felt that his scent had become more alluring, making her want to devour him entirely.

"Give me another bowl, I haven't tasted it for two years... just one bowl."
