Chapter 226 - C153(3)

Kain picked up the phone and contacted Betty directly: "Betty, if you're not busy, come to the group's headquarters."

The first task was to install the Red Queen and then let her take over the affairs and overall planning of the Pent Group.

In the Marvel world, the operating software of the Red Queen cannot be promoted as vigorously as in the Resident Evil world, as it would easily be discovered by others.

Wakanda, Tony Stark's J.A.R.V.I.S., and SHIELD are all factors to consider. It is unclear how strong SHIELD's network protection is, and whether the Red Queen could break through it. Her body must be handled with extreme caution.

During the original crisis, several individuals used backdoors to shut down the Red Queen's artificial intelligence.

Since it is impossible for the Red Queen to betray Kain, he thinks it would be wise to prepare additional "bodies" for her.

Having a spare body and a robot for her to control would ensure that the Red Queen has no means of being vulnerable.

When Kain arrived at the company, Betty was already waiting for him.

He immediately held a high-level meeting, calling in Laura, the Vanko father and son, and others who knew some of the group's secrets. He then briefed them about the artificial intelligence.

"Laura, help me set up two temporary computer rooms. My manor and Umbrella will assist in building the final computer room after the underground base is completed. But for now, the group can utilize the Red Queen to help with office tasks."

After Kain finished speaking, the computer beside him spoke, introducing itself: "Hi everyone, I am the assistant of Mr. Kain, Red Queen, and I hope to get along peacefully with all of you."

Umbrella's development has been perfected for a long time, and the intelligence of the Red Queen is now very high.

She actively engages with Kain, solving some of his problems. Although it is programmed, it is far more capable than the previous sluggish version of the Red Queen.

Vanko and his son were both surprised and excited. With the Red Queen's artificial intelligence, the last gap in their new energy war weapon plan was filled.

However, they first needed to build the underground base in New York City. The Red Queen had already displayed the blueprint for an Umbrella underground base on the computer.

A massive "hive" would cover both Brook Forest and Queens.

It took Umbrella seven years to build such a large-scale project, but without the use of new energy robots.

Vanko and his son had built many engineering robots during this period, and with the energy supply from the Ark Reactor, they could operate 24 hours a day, significantly speeding up construction.

"Sir, I only need to focus on these four locations and increase the number of engineering robots by six times. I can complete the underground hive base within four years. Once the hive is complete, the engineering robots can also be disassembled and transformed into war machines."

The Red Queen has just received all the information from the Pent Group. With Kain's authorization, the encryption set by Ivan Vanko failed to stop her.

The data on the Ark Reactor and the war robots were naturally collected by the Red Queen. Four years is already an impressively fast timeline.

Kain nodded, and as he was about to agree, Betty quickly interjected, saying, "Kain, the funds from the last sale of gold are running out, and the profits might only return after the drug is launched next month."

"Don't worry, Betty, I'll take care of the funding issue," Kain reassured her with a calming look.

Betty's concerns were not unfounded—placing the Red Queen's body, doubling the number of engineering robots, and building several landmark buildings to form the underground hive would all add up.

All of this would need to be completed within four years, and the annual spending could reach billions, or even tens of billions of dollars.

Even with the support from pharmaceutical profits, it would still place a significant financial burden on the Pent Group.

However, money is not a strenuous issue for Kain. If he wanted to, the amount of gold he could pull out could scare Hydra. Against the scale of Umbrella, Hydra was really not a major threat.

Later, Kain negotiated further with them, though mostly he was the one making decisions.

The technical information brought back by the Red Queen included many drugs developed by Umbrella Biopharmaceuticals, such as painkillers, wound-healing ointments, and more.

After reviewing and comparing, five drugs were selected for application, listing, and sale. This would require Hydra's help, as Hydra also had shares in the pharmaceutical company.

The five drugs chosen by the Red Queen were far superior to similar drugs on the market, giving them a natural edge over the competition, which would ensure they made a lot of money.

The meeting lasted about three hours, and Kain finally ordered: "Queen, summarize what we just discussed, create a plan, and distribute it to them. Make your 'body' a priority. My manor is under construction, and the computer room is working together. Anton, I'll leave the energy aspects to you."

The Red Queen replied, "Understood, sir."

Anton Vanko readily agreed, though secretly he marveled at the Red Queen's level of intelligent computing.

Although he had never seen Tony Stark's artificial intelligence, he felt that Stark's AI might not be superior to the Red Queen's capabilities.

As for the gold, gold-titanium alloys, and rare metals, there are not many places left to store them.

The Red Queen suggested that once the Umbrella "body" computer room is completed, part of it could be used for temporary storage, and the rest would be handed over to Vanko and his son to build the engineering robots.

Kain's return had brought many surprises, and Betty was still immersed in the aftershock of the meeting. Once she recovered from the surprise, endless joy followed.

The Pent Group's rapid development might position it among the top ten groups in the world within the next ten years. As a personal participant and witness, how could Betty not feel delighted?

In moments of joy, one needs to channel that energy and use it to stabilize emotions and continue working more effectively.

However, in order not to delay the next task, Betty only got comfortable three times before washing up and leaving.

She didn't even have time to drink her milk this time. Betty had better reasons, determination, and the wisdom of a sage, and Kain couldn't persuade her to stay.

"Excellent physical fitness is also a challenge. In the future, Betty alone will become more and more difficult to handle."

Kain felt that his desire seemed to be growing stronger, but he firmly refused to admit that he was lustful.

He just thought that the genes of dragons and unicorns had influenced his nature. The real him could endure years of loneliness to practice his shooting and study diligently.

"Let's focus on business first—transforming the wizard manor and the company. Afterward, I'll head to the ninja world after dealing with it."

He hasn't visited the ninja world for a long time; it's the easiest world for him to conquer. If he cooperates with Orochimaru now, Kain has enough strength to take over the ninja world.

After that, he can vigorously develop the power of the ninja world to feed back the forces in the Marvel Universe, such as the Ten Tails and more.

Of course, Kain himself misses Kushina a little, and he doesn't know how long it has been since he left.
