"Kira," Lyra said, catching the young woman's attention, "Now, we'll get back to what's most important: your training."
Kira, still confused, nodded slowly, regaining her focus.
"Today, you'll learn about the Dao of Water," Lyra announced. "Like fire, water is a primal force. But unlike fire, which is intense and unpredictable, water is adaptable and fluid. It molds itself to its surroundings, but it can also be devastating in its strength."
Lyra gestured toward the nearby lake. "Come, let's begin."
When they reached the lake, Lyra asked Kira to kneel on the shore and close her eyes.
"First, connect with the water. Just as you did with the fire, feel its presence. Listen to the sound of the waves, feel the coolness on your skin, notice how it is always in motion."
Kira took a deep breath and tried to focus. Instead of heat, she felt a refreshing calm enveloping her.
