Kae'lers had arrived in the Kingdom of Solaria, known as the Kingdom of the Burning Light. He knew through his information networks that King Helios had made secret contact with the Kingdom of Kalthar. Emperor Kraven, that ambitious old man, seemed to want to speed up political negotiations, unlike other kingdoms who preferred to settle their differences in war.
Kael considered this diplomacy a facade; to him, many of these kings spoke of peace and harmony while secretly plotting alliances and conquests of Aetherion.
Having settled into an inn in the capital of Solaria, Kael ended up falling asleep for a few hours. When he woke up, he felt restless. Looking at a specific point in the city, he muttered to himself: "Hmm... something tells me there's an opportunity in that direction."
He left the inn and headed for an alley in the darkest part of the city.
