Selene woke up groggy, her head still heavy after the intense night that followed in the castle, when Orion stopped time. Her thoughts were hazy, and she barely remembered the moment when she finally succumbed to exhaustion.
"O-O-Orion!" her voice came out hoarse, her throat sore as if it had been broken by the moans of the previous night.
Feeling the discomfort, she closed her eyes, concentrating for a moment to use her healing energy on herself. A comforting warmth ran down her throat, and she murmured in relief:
"Phew... much better."
Kicking the covers aside, Selene slowly stood up, her eyes scanning the messy room. Her mind was still a mix of exhaustion and confusion. The sound of footsteps in the hallway made her look up at the door.
Curious, she walked over to it, unlocked it, and peeked out, only to find Orion approaching. He carried a tray laden with fresh fruit, the sweet aroma filling the air.
