The confrontation showed no signs of stopping. Kamos breathed deeply, drops of water running down his skin as he continued to manipulate the environment around him. The arena was practically submerged, and the water was his ally, ready to obey every command.
Rhys, however, did not retreat. Even surrounded by the territory that favored Kamos, his mind quickly calculated the next steps. His hands danced in the air, forming complex runes that seemed to float like stars in an invisible galaxy.
"You will not trap me with tricks, Rhys," Kamos declared.
"Then show me something that truly deserves to be called strength," she replied, the runic glow reflecting in her eyes.
Kamos raised his arms, summoning a technique in which multiple columns of water rose up around Rhys, trying to press her from all sides. The columns were fast and unpredictable, dancing at their creator's command.
