"It seems that your son is still stronger than the two of us," Vegeta said.
He, whis and Goku are watching the fight from lord Beerus's planet.
Of course, they only saw half of Gohan's fight and Goten's fight.
If Vegeta saw how badly his daughter got beaten by Cooler he would be doing anything he could to go back to earth.
"Still Frieza is really strong. Vegeta, do you think he would beat us if we were the one that is fighting him." Goku asked Vegeta.
"What are you asking Kakarrot? Of course, we would win. After all, we are stronger." Vegeta replied.
"I don't know about that you two," Whis said.
"I am not saying you would lose but Frieza was stronger than you two even with Blue," Whis stated.
"Blue. Don't you mean Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan?" Vegeta asked.
"I think blue works better," Goku said.
"Frieza would lose if he fought either of you. But that is because he got weaker as he fought instead of you two being stronger." Whis said.
"Oh. It's like me losing to Vegeta when using Super Saiyan 3 not because I was weaker but because he can outlast me." Goku said.
"Bingo. We have a winner." Whis said.
"Now back to training," Whis said as he created huge fat-weight clothes for Goku and Vegeta.
Beerus is still sleeping at that moment in time while another god of destruction called Champa and his angel Vardos are approaching Beerus's planet at that time.

In the world of Kais.
"He won. He beat Goldern Frieza." Shin said in joy.
"This called for a celebration." West Supreme Kai said as she pulled out a bottle of alcohol.
"Wait. Where did you get that?" South Supreme Kai said as he tried to get the bottle from her.
She ran away while holding the bottle as South Supreme Kai followed her around.
"Hey, you can't bring something that impure here," Shin said as he also started running after West Supreme Kai.

"Dad. It's been a while since we died. And we have not seen brother yet." Cooler said to King Cold.
"Does that mean he won?" King Cold said.
"Finally that brat is dead." King Cold was happy when he thought that Trunk dying at the hands of Frieza.
Both of them didn't know that Frieza was someone who would never be sent to normal hell.
Instead because of how wicked he was a separate section of hell was created just so that he would be tormented for eternity trapped in a cacoon while small little fairies sang and danced around him constantly.
King Cold and Cooler didn't know this as they thought that Frieza won because he was not sent to normal hell like them.

Back on earth.
Goten reverted to his base form as he descended to the ground.
He then looked at the sky as he fell on his back.
"Goten. Are you okay?" Gohan asked as he looked at his brother.
"Here," Goten said as he handed a small sack to Gohan.
"This is?" Gohan asked as he opened the sack to see what was inside it.
"Senzu beans?" Gohan asked.
"You got hurt while fighting Cooler. Didn't you? You can have one." Goten said.
Trunks was able to beat King Cold easily and Piccolo and the others only retreated because they were tired after using most of their energy.
And Bra outright lost to Cooler. They are strong but Goten knew that it was not enough.
He had to keep training because he knew that it was not over yet.

A few weeks later. Everything went back to normal as everyone returned to their daily lives.
"A tournament? With people from different universes?" Gohan said as he looked at Goku who was standing outside the window near the desk where he was sitting.
Gohan was holding his daughter in his arms as he was writing a paper.
"I have to refuse. I have an academic conference on that day." Gohan said to Goku.
"I see. Such a shame. Then I will go and get Goten." Goku said as he flew away from Gohan's house.

A few minutes later at Capsule Corporation.
"No." Goten declined.
Goten wanted to fight but he declined because he knew about the tournament of Power.
He has not watched that part but he knows about the premise about warriors across the universes fighting each other in a battle royale.
He wanted to keep his presence in the multiverse low until the true battle royal arrived.
"I wanted to join. But if Goten is not fighting I also have to refuse." Trunks also said.
"Ahh. I wanted to see you two fight." Goku said.
"Let the kids rest for a while," Bulma said to Goku.
"I will join," Bra said as she looked at Goku.
Goku looked shocked by her answer.

At Kame's house.
"I will join too," Marron said.
"You too," Goku said.
"I wanted to see the warriors of another universe," Marron said.
"Who knows? I might be able to see something interesting there?" She continued.

After meeting everyone Goku was able to gather the 5 warriors that were going to be representing the Universe 7.
"Who did you choose Kakarrot?" Vegeta asked him.
Goku showed him a paper full of names.
Most of them were scratched out apart from three.
He and Vegeta are already there from the start so their names are not on the list.
"Marron, Bulla and Yamcha?" Vegeta said while looking confused.
"Wait Kakarrot? What the hell are you doing?" Vegeta yelled at Goku.
He was expecting names like 18, Piccolo, Buu, Gohan, Goten and Trunks but the names he got were not very satisfactory.
"What the hell happened to the others? I get why Bulla was here but really? Yamcha, Marron? Are you stupid?" Vegeta said to Goku.
"Vegeta. What are you freaking out for?" At that moment Beerus arrived near them while looking like he had just woken up.
"What's that?" He asked Goku.
"This is a list of people that are going to be participating," Goku said.
"Do you even need to write it down? Isn't that just those two brats and your older son?" Beerus said to Goku.
