Chapter 35 - Chapter 34 Protests and Stryker

There was a rising amount of civilians all around the world making there voices clear.

From young to old.

They wanted Superman to answer.

They wanted Superman to answer for the kidnapping of high level leaders and many humanitarian type ceo's from several countries.

Superman told them he would be good for the citizens on Earth.

Yet now he goes around kidnapping so many seemingly good people.

"Did Superman lie?" Was a prominent question being asked and loads of discussions were happening over it.

Some had different opinions to the "Superman is bad" group but there voices were too small and was eventually drowned out.

So these people began turning towards there governments.

Demanding them to get Superman to answer.

over the next few days this would eventually turn into all out protests because of the silence of the governments.

People would March towards the government buildings such as the White house and other such places in groups of tens of thousands.

Blocking streets and shutting down any work being performed in these places where the main body of government was represented.

The police and military would try to control and suppress these protests but the numbers and voices of the citizens were too many and too loud to suppress.

They were only able to make sure no one did anything too crazy.

This would also become known as the beginning of The Age of Chaos.

Currently however, these protests had yet to happen and was purely limited to online discussions.

Meanwhile the news of Tony and Steve although still available were barely noticed.

David landed softly before the imposing gates of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters.

The plaque gleamed in the sun light, the engraved words a stark reminder of the hope this place symbolized for mutants.

"Someone's trying to invade your mind," Venom hissed in his thoughts.

"Stop them," David commanded as the faint mental pressure dissipated, leaving David with an inkling of who it might be.

Moments later, the speaker by the gate crackled to life.

"Who is this?" a gruff voice demanded.

David replied, "Tell Xavier, Superman is here."

The gates creaked open after a tense pause.

Soon he began walking the pathway, carrying the unconscious bodies of Bucky and the others, he observed the sprawling fields.

The grass fresh and the surroundings clean, creating serene envoirment.

At the entrance, the door swung open, revealing Professor Charles Xavier seated in his wheelchair. Beside him stood Logan, his sharp eyes filled with suspicion.

"Superman," Xavier greeted with a polite nod, his voice calm yet curious and slightly suspicious. "What brings you to my school"

David shifted the weight of the soldiers and said firmly, "A request for your help... and theirs."

Xavier was quiet for a second as he glanced at the four unconscious people in David's hand.

"Come in" Xavier said as cogs seemed to be turning in his head as his wheel chair turned around and he began rolling into the mansion.

David walked in while Logan followed him from behind.

Stepping through the hallway, there were two huge rooms connected to the hallway.

With a casual glance, David noticed several young kids, peeping at him trying there best to stay as hidden as possible.

The rooms seemed empty but it was actually filled.

"These kids are very innovative" David said with a smile as he looked at Charles who also let out a chuckle.

"Yes, indeed they are, especially the one that's somehow hiding inside the couch and has poked holes within to see" Charles pointed out, loud enough for his voice to be heard in both the large rooms.

There was only silence as David, Charles and Logan kept walking.

David and the other three rather impressed by how quick these kids managed to find out David was here and hide so well in the time it took David to walk from the gates to the door.

Going to the next floor and a little walk later through the large and well decorated mansion/school they had finally arrived at Xavier's office.

Stepping inside, David observed the Warm and inviting lighting, Natural light streaming in through large windows.

A large, polished wooden desk as the centrepiece which Xavier moved towards and sat on the tall brown chair.

The walls lined with tall bookshelves, filled with volumes on science, philosophy, history, and mutant-related research, showcasing Xavier's scholarly pursuits.

The office adorned with artifacts.

Diplomatic and intellectual items like globes, framed documents, and classical sculptures decorating this room.

"I see they have been marked and mind controlled ,when certain phrases are said they enter a state of being controlled" Xavier said when Logan shut the door.

"Yes, They were mind controlled by Hydra and I want you to remove this mark" David said causing Xavier to nod.

"That's not a bug issue, at most 4 days" Charles said.

"But in exchange I would like to request your help" Charles said causing David to be intrigued.

"There was a person who asked me to look at his son a while ago, I did and he had good powers and with proper guidance, he would be able to develop his powers well, so I offered him a place in the school" Xavier said as a frown was appearing on his face.

"But the boy refused, he did not wish to Accept my help so I left, recently, I got a bit curious about the boy and took a look at how he was doing.

And..." Xavier stopped with a look of disgust flashing in his eyes.

"The extent of the boy's mistreatment, including the physical and psychological abuse he endured and is still enduring under his father was disgusting" Xavier said.

David looked at Xavier with confused look, "So a rescue mission? Don't you have people you can send?" David asked as he glanced back at Logan.

But Charles shook his head.

"There will be to many consequences if we take action, towards the whole mutant community" Charles shook his head.

"His father is a valued researcher of the government, he has lots of friends in high places which will make things very difficult for us" Charles said trying to take Advantage of the news of David spreading all over the world.

It seemed like David's actions were very questionable but an opportunity for Charles.

David in the other hand was still completely oblivious to the fire he had set off.

David was quiet for a while before he nodded.

"So who is he?" David asked.

"William Stryker and his son Jason Stryker" Charles said the names, causing David to nod.

He didn't have much of a issue.

Striker may been a difficult opponent for the mutants because of the involvement of the government.

But for him this was a easy matter to handle.

His interference would change a lot of things, most prominently the supposed death of Jean Grey
