[Ding! The Kryptonian Superman system has been Updated. Dear Commander, David, you have been sleeping for 63 years, your body has recovered, and your logical thinking is returning to normal]
"What?" David asked as he came to with a buzzing head and memories filled with a shroud of haze and the message infront of him floating on purple holographic screen.
"What is this?"David asked as he looked around, confused.
A Human sized pod oozing out black liquid, his lower body still submerged within it.
The naked upper body exposed to the air.
His eyes looked at the barn with almost mouldy and smelly hay bails and old farming tools in confusion.
All of a sudden, David clutched his head as the buzzing increased, he felt like it was piercing his mind.
The haziness slowly began to clear at this time and like a torrent, a bunch of memories appeared in David's mind.
His eyes freezing in place as his mind raced to comprehend these surfacing memories.
A few minutes quickly passed where his body was in a state of complete stillness until his body relaxed and his eyes moved again.
Resting his back onto the back of the pod, David looked at the roof of the barn with a smile.
"It worked" David said with a relaxed smile.
"I've been asleep since World War II, although I lost about half a century...
it was worth it." David said to himself with relief as he rubbed his neck with his hand.
He originally traveled to the ending years of World War II, and got a Superman system as a first-time gift, his body's Durability, strength and speed had been greatly strengthened.
This made him almost as strong as Captain America.
He had immediately jumped to joining the war and making a name for himself due to the conditions for a complete Awakening of the system.
In the beginning.
There were many suspicions due to his almost supernatural conditions.
Although to the best of his attempts to prove that he was not some kind of a spy, he failed.
They locked him up, not willing to let him go out their and fight in the war, they studied him, marking him a creation of Hydra.
They kept him away from the light of the world in the hands of some of the smartest people in the world.
The Government spent years trying to figure out how Hydra had manage to create David but they never could figure it out.
A sudden void appeared due to the disappearance of Captain America.
Red Skull was gone but the Nazi's with all of the tech already created by Red Skull still existed.
The Captain had thought that the war was over, but it wasnt.
As a matter of fact it raged on with even more intensity as Germany was backed into a corner causing them to blatantly use weapons of mass destruction.
America was getting backed into a corner day by day.
They had no choice but to turn to David a few months after Captain had dissapered into the ice.
Putting an explosive chip into his neck they released him to take care of a base rumoured to contain several explosive Nukes in France.
David was not to worried about the explosive chip, as long as he managed to make a name for himself in this mission and gain enough fame points, he would unlock a Superman template.
By then a mere chip would not be able to control him.
The mission went well, he had naively showed of his powers and took care of the base.
He did not manage to gain enough Fame points but he still gained alot from the squad that was sent to assist and monitor him.
With his show of power David was confident that he would be given more opportunities now.
Unfortunetly David underestimated humans fear and desire for control.
The minute he was done with taking care of the base, without a chance to even celebrate the explosive chip inside his neck was activated.
Blowing half his neck off.
Blood sprayed like a fountain as he fell sideways onto the ground.
His mind still active, filled with anger unprecedented anger and regret his vision fading at a speed he could not control.
Through the enclosing darkness he saw the system give him a choice.
[Death or Hibernation]
Seeing not much of a choice and the preciousness of each passing millisecond, David could only choose to hibernate.
He didn't know what happened after that or how he ended up in a barn
According to his calculations, the time he was sent on the mission and the time he was asleep for, it was currently 2008.
Remembering the past David could not help be filled with hate as the image of the people that kept him locked up flashed in his mind.
Gripping onto the side of the silver pod, David's body rose out of the black liquid, exposing his entire lower body.
Stepping out of the pod, David's leg immediately gave out as he fell face first onto the ground.
"Damn It..." David mumbled as he pushed himself of the ground.
"It's been so long since I have walked, it's like I don't even have a sense of balance anymore" David said.
"System, Awaken Kryptonian Superman Template Function"Â
David said silently in his heart.
[Ding! Commander, your reputation is not enough.]
David nodded to himself expecting this, as a series of simple statements were immediately projected infront of his eyes:
[Community-level reputation: 0/10 [Complete at least one major event that shakes a small community].
"Wait a second why has the reputation points reset!" David asked the system.
[The Points were used to facilitate your hibernation healing]
"Fair enough" was all David could say.
He had to shake up a small community which was relatively easy, all to unlock the first Superman template.
In the past he failed because he was not allowed to interact with a large enough group of people that could collectively make up a small community but now he was free of their control.
With the support of the pod, David slowly stood up and tried gain back his sense of balance which came to him relatively quickly.
Feeling like he could walk properly again he made his way towards the doors and slid them open revealing the bright shining sunlight hitting his open body.
He began looking around but there wasn't much to see other than a small house that seemed like it would fall apart with some old haggard looking clothes.
He looked around for a while but mostly it seemed like the barn and the old house had been abandoned a long time ago.
