"Stop it!" a voice called out, gaining Webby's attention. He looked left and saw several beasts running forward, a cold smirk appearing on his face. "Ah, you mates are here; food will be surplus!" he declared. Just as he was about to finish off Berry, another voice chimed in.
"You can't hurt her! If you do, you'll only be blamed by Angel when she wakes up!" one of Berry's companions announced boldly.
A frown appeared on Webby's face as he turned his deadly glare toward the beast that had spoken.
"I am speaking the truth," the beast replied defiantly. "Both of them are friends. If you hurt Berry, you will never become her mate," he added, his voice firm.
Webby looked at Lily, whose body was increasingly turning blue, and then back at Berry. "Never in your life step into my mate's territory," he warned. Right after his warning, Berry was released, and she could finally breathe properly.
"What did you do to my beautiful sister?" Berry asked fiercely.
