Three days later.
"There's nothing to use to break it." Lily sat on a huge rock, staring at the massive rock with deep seriousness. "Ah... my bag! I almost forget it, Perhaps It can send me a hammer." She immediately searched for her bag but couldn't locate it. "Pardon! Don't tell me I lost it!" she screamed inwardly in panic.
"Beauty! I found us a house!" Liam exclaimed in excitement as he rushed to Lily's side. "We can leave here now," he added, hugging her from behind.
"Wait... did you find my bag?" Lily asked immediately.
"Oh... I packed all our things for our new house, including the treasure you called bag," Liam replied, licking her neck.
Lily shivered from the electric sense. "That means I'll have to go there before this thing is done," she thought. "Then should we go now?"
"Whatever you say," Liam responded, hugging her more tightly and biting her neck softly.
Lily could feel herself heating up; her breath became hotter, and her fair face flushed red. "Erm... Liam, can... can you stop for a moment? I'm... I'm not ready for this yet," she stammered.
Liam paused and appeared before her in the blink of an eye. He flashed her a sweet, seductive smile before nodding.
"Damn! This guy is going to kill me; he's just too handsome!" she screamed inwardly. "That's right, I haven't seen Angus for the past three days. Is he still angry?" she asked, concern creeping onto her face.
Before Liam could respond, a chill wind blew, and then the handsome Angus appeared. "You are finally calm and wish to see me now," his cold voice echoed.
Lily blinked twice in rapid succession. "Huh?" she said, genuinely confused.
"Didn't you ask me to go away?" Angus countered, staring into Lily's beautiful blue eyes.
Lily's eyes widened. "I said that, but I didn't mean you should abandon me! How could you bear to leave me alone for the whole three days? It seems like you don't really like me," she pouted, faking anger.
Angus stared at Lily for a moment before suddenly lifting her with his tail. He dragged her into his arms, tilted his head, and captured her lips, kissing her affectionately.
Liam could only watch helplessly with gritted teeth.
"I truly love you," Angus confessed. "But I can't bear to be the cause of your anger." His cold gaze became warmer.
Lily's eyes widened. "What a sincere heart," she thought, and then smiled. "Well... I have something I need you to do for me."
"Beauty, I will do it for you!" Liam insisted immediately, jumping forward.
Angus cast Liam a deadly glare, his gaze cold and freezing.
Liam's breath hitched immediately, but he wasn't ready to back down, and both engaged in a clash of eyes.
Lily sighed. "How did I even fall in love with these two overbearing handsome men?" she screamed inwardly. "I'm still here," her soft voice interjected.
Angus looked at Lily and said, "he's far too weak, Ignore him and tell me what you want me to do for you," a serious expression appearing on his face.
"Beauty... trust me, I can do it!" Liam declared.
Lily sighed again. "Alright, you both will have to do it," she replied.
"What's it?" both Liam and Angus asked in unison.
"Actually... I want both of you to... stop quarreling. You both owe me, right? And I love both of you equally. For my sake, please stop fighting; we are family now, and I want a peaceful one."
Both Liam and Angus were stunned, exchanging glances. "That's what you want?" they asked together.
Lily nodded.
There was a long silence. "I will do as you say," Angus promised.
"Really?" Excitement lit up Lily's face, and a joyous smile appeared, enhancing her peerless beauty.
Angus gulped before nodding with great difficulty.
"Then Liam, do you agree as well?"
Liam nodded. "I'll do whatever my beauty wants," he swore.
"Yay! Then our family of three is complete... we should live together," Lily chuckled.
....
In my world, I was betrayed by the person I fell for and almost got killed by him. Didn't I just want to experience real love? Well, in this beast world, I found not only handsome beasts mates but ones who love me so deeply that they are willing to lay down their lives for me. Anyway, I will go back home one day... but before then, I should taste what true love is. Aiya, I have submitted to fate and won't struggle anymore. I should treasure this love so that I won't regret it later.
.....
This is the house you bought? "Lily looked at the huge stone house, which was built with rock and located in the middle of the vast forest. It seemed like there was no living being around, as everywhere was quiet and peaceful." Wow! "She exclaimed."
"Do you like it, beauty?" Liam asked, grinning from ear to ear.
Lily nodded. "You really know my taste; this place is perfect!" she declared.
"Then... can I get a kiss as a reward?"
Lily chuckled and gave him a kiss.
Angus's eyes turned cold instantly, but remembering his promise to Lily, he slowly calmed down. "What does Angel want to do with this rock?" he inquired, pointing at the huge rock that he carried with his tail.
"Ah... put it down first," Lily instructed, and Angus did as he was told.
Lily walked closer to it and softly caressed it. "I want to make some treasures from it," she replied.
"Huh? What treasures?" both Angus and Liam asked in unison.
Lily chuckled. "Get me my bag first, and you will get your answers soon," she winked.
Instantly, Liam returned with Lily's bag, and Lily dipped her hand inside it. "I need a hammer," she murmured, but nothing happened. "What the hell is wrong with this thing? Why is it not working?" she thought, taking a serious look at it.
Liam and Angus were staring at Lily with close attention.
Just as Lily was lost in thought, the sky slowly shifted, and a huge hammer fell from the sky, hitting the ground with a loud rumble and raising up dust.
When the dust settled, the three of them were stunned: Angus, Liam, and Lily.
"What's this?" both Liam and Angus asked in unison, looking at the sky, which had now calmed.
Lily's mouth was wide open, and she blinked several times. "What am I supposed to do with such a huge hammer? I can never lift this!" she slapped her forehead.
"Are we being attacked?" Liam became alarmed and looked around, his guard raised.
"Err," Lily cleared her throat. "This is called a hammer; we are not being attacked. It belongs to me," she explained.
"Hammer?!" Liam's face lit up. "Beauty, you have such a huge treasure!" he exclaimed.
"Your IQ, huh... you even refer to this as a treasure," Lily thought, flashing a sweet smile.
Angus walked closer to the enormous hammer and picked it up lightly, as if it were a piece of paper.
Lily was stunned. "Just how much weight do you have, Angus? Seeing the way you picked it up as if it's a cake!" she exclaimed inwardly.
Angus frowned. "Angel, does this belong to you?" he inquired.
Lily nodded.
"This thing fell from the sky. Are you from the other side?"
Lily was stunned.
Liam immediately shielded Lily. "Do not suspect my beauty!"
Lily's heart raced. "Did... is he suspecting that I'm not one of them?" she thought.
Angus cast a bored gaze at Liam.
"What... what's the matter?" Lily asked nervously, feeling a little uncomfortable.
"You are not from the other side, are you?" Angus's voice dropped.
"Even if she is, you have no right to do anything to her!" Liam interjected protectively.
Lily looked at Liam, her heart racing. "What... what other side are you talking about?" she stammered. "Did he have a grudge against humans?" she thought.
Angus sighed and dropped the hammer. "You definitely aren't from the other side. I'm not suspecting you, either; I'm just worried about your safety," he responded.
Lily secretly breathed out a sigh of relief. "But what's that other side?" she queried.
"The people from the other side are not unlike us, but they primarily feed on us here. They are exceptionally ugly, but their females have a special ability to transform into beauties for just fifty normal breaths. After they transform, they come here to find mates, and once they have gathered enough, they return to feed on them. We, the snake tribe, have named them the Other Side because they are the opposite of us, but they are popularly known as Judas. They come here when food is scarce," Angus elaborated.
Lily's eyes widened. "Something like that exists?" she thought. "But what does that have to do with the falling of things from the sky?" she asked.
Angus smirked coldly. "They usually fall from the sky in the form of weird objects, and after they land on the ground, they take the form they desire."
Lily was shocked. "Did... did they hurt you?" she asked, sensing the deep grudge within him.
"No," Angus replied simply.
"Then why...?" Lily pressed.
"I'm afraid you will get hurt," Angus admitted.
"Huh?"
"Your scent is different from that of other beast tribes. You are neither from the mermaid tribe nor the fox tribe, peacock or bird, and for those whose level is above mine or on par with mine, it will be easy for them to notice. The beasts from the Other Side improve their strength quickly, and once they arrive, they will soon detect that a different species is present and will track you down."
"Ah... why...?" Lily stammered, her mind racing.
"Because... their king needs a different species to revive his dying mate."
"What!"
"I only have two methods to keep you safe for now. The first is to..." Angus paused and gritted his teeth together. "Find many males and mate with them; their mate marks will hide your scent. The more mate marks on you, the better."
Note: fifty normal breaths means one hour
