Livewire examined her new, electrified attire with a satisfied smirk. "How do I look? I ionized the air around me to make my clothes. Pretty form-fitting, don't you think?" She struck a dramatic pose, electricity crackling along her limbs.
"Leslie, stop this before you regret it. Let me help you." Kara's tone was laced with concern.
Kara flies towards Livewire, grabbing her and lifting them both into the air. Livewire cackles, electricity crackling along her form.
"I already got enough help from you." With a sudden surge of power, she shocked Kara, making the hero groan in pain.
"AGH!" Kara's grip loosened, and Livewire transformed into pure energy, slipping from her grasp and landing on the ground below.
Kara shakes off the effects of the electricity. She unleashes her heat vision, but Livewire absorbs the energy, a smug grin on her face.
"Thanks, I needed a top-up." Livewire blasts a torrent of electricity at Kara, the force knocking the hero backwards. Kara tumbles through the air, crashing into the side of a building.
Kara shook off the debris, her costume only slightly singed. Undeterred, she braced herself as Livewire unleashed another torrent of electricity. Kara sidestepped the attack and lunged forward, seizing Livewire. With a mighty heave, she hurled the electric villain towards a nearby lamppost.
Livewire dissolved into pure energy, surging into the lamppost. "Is that the best you can do, Supergirl?" she taunted, materializing once more. "It's going to take a lot more than that to stop me."
Livewire transformed into pure energy, surging into a nearby big screen.
"Hope you're not afraid of the dark, Supergirl," she taunted, her voice echoing through the display.
Seizing control of the city's electrical grid, Livewire plunged the entire metropolis into darkness. Kara found herself surrounded by the glow of Livewire's face, reflected across every electronic surface.
"Hello, people of National City. This is Livewire coming to you about, oh, uh, gazillion megahertz. I did this so you can gaze at me, your new queen of media."
The citizens stared up at the screens, expressions ranging from confusion to growing unease. Some tried to change the channel or swipe their phones, but the screens refused to budge, delivering only Livewire's taunting visage.
"Don't change the channel or swipe your phones because all you will be getting is me," Livewire warned, her tone dripping with smug satisfaction.
A young woman fumbled with her smartphone, her fingers trembling as she tried to make a call. The device suddenly crackled with electricity, and she dropped it with a yelp, watching it shatter on the ground.
Livewire's face loomed large across the screens, her voice dripping with malice. "If you want your electricity, phones, and stupid little lives back, you better start worshiping and sending those checks to me. And not even the girl in the red skirt and cape nor the weirdo wearing some armor can stop me!"
The people of National City stared up at the screens, horror etching their features. Kara's brow furrowed with worry as she watched the events unfold. Livewire's power had grown exponentially, and she was clearly determined to hold the city hostage.
"Oh, and to you, Cat Grant, if you are watching this. You and I are going to have some words." Livewire's lips curled into a menacing grin before her image vanished, plunging the city into darkness.
Kara stood in the eerie silence, the only sounds the distant cries of panic from the citizens. She knew she had to act, but Livewire's powers were unlike anything she had faced before. Gritting her teeth, Kara took to the skies, determined to confront the electrified villain and restore power to the city.
…
(Haruka POV)
I watch Livewire's menacing face fill the screens, her words dripping with venom. The situation looks grim, and I know I need to act fast. I glance over at my parents, Hana and Matsu, huddled in the dark. The power's out, and all we have are the flickering candles to light the room.
"That woman in blue is trouble. Did she shut down the whole city?" Hana asks, her brow furrowed with concern.
"Probably. I wonder what's become of our city. It was so much more peaceful before, and now we've got this blue-clad woman draining the electricity from the city." Matsu shakes his head, his expression grave.
"Mom, Dad, I'm gonna head up to my room for now." I tell them, trying to sound reassuring. "I'm sure Kamen Rider and Supergirl will take care of that blue woman."
"I hope so too, Haruka. Here, take some more candles to light your room."
"Thanks, Mom." I give her a quick hug before heading back upstairs.
Once in my room, I quickly open the window and slip outside. After running a safe distance away, I summon the Auto Vajin from the system space. With a rumble, the motorcycle-like machine appears, and I hop on, gunning the engine. I head toward National City at full speed. The Auto Vajin's engines roar loudly.
(Haruka's POV)
That blue woman called Livewire is bad news. She looks a little familiar. "That woman looks just like Leslie Willis," I mutter, remembering the conversation Kara and I had about her a few days ago. "I thought she was supposed to be in the hospital after Kara saved her. How did she get these powers?"
I rev the Auto Vajin's engine as I speed towards the city center. Livewire has taken control of the power grid, plunging National City into darkness. I have to find Kara and figure out a way to stop this new threat.
I pull out the Faiz Phone and quickly dial Supergirl's number, hoping she can shed some light on this situation.
"Supergirl, it's Kamen Rider. Have you seen this Livewire?" I ask, getting straight to the point.
"Yeah, I just fought her a little while ago," Kara replies, her voice tense. "I barely managed to hold her off."
So Kara fought her and didn't manage to take her down quickly. That is concerning since she is a Kryptonian.
"We gotta regroup and figure out how to take down this Livewire chick," I tell Kara. "The DEO might be able to lend a hand with a plan."
"Can't. She's after Cat Grant at CatCo. I'm heading there now." Kara's voice is tense.
"Got it. I'm on my way, don't start without me." I rev the Auto Vajin's engine, and the machine surges forward as I speed towards CatCo.
Cat Grant sits in her office, sipping wine as she gazes out at the city skyline. The lights in her office begin to flicker, and sparks of electricity crackle in the air. Suddenly, a figure materializes before her - Leslie Willis, now transformed into Livewire.
"Hello, Cat. Miss me?" Livewire taunts, her voice dripping with malice.
Cat sets down her wine glass, her expression betraying no fear.
"My god, Leslie. What happened to you?"
"Leslie is dead; she died in that CatCopter of yours. I'm Livewire now."
Livewire scowls at Cat, her electric powers crackling around her. "Do you even care what happened to me, Cat? Or are you just going to sit there and act like you don't give a damn?"
Cat regards her coolly, taking a sip of her wine. "To be honest, Leslie, I don't particularly care."
Livewire's tone is dripping with sarcasm as she addresses Cat Grant. "You're the same as always. The mighty Cat Grant of CatCo." She laughs, a hint of malice in her voice. "But I'll be calling the shots now."
The desire to harm Cat is evident in Livewire's eyes. She fires a blast of electricity, but Kara arrives just in time, bursting through the window. The heroine stands before Cat, shielding her from Livewire's attack.
Kara grits her teeth as the electrical current courses through her body. Her cape billows behind her as she shields Cat from Livewire's onslaught. Livewire's eyes widen in surprise, not expecting Kara's timely intervention.
"Supergirl," Livewire spits, her voice dripping with venom. "I should have known you'd come running to save your precious Cat Grant."
"This has to stop, Leslie. You're hurting innocent people."
Livewire cackles, her laughter echoing through the office. "Innocent? There's no such thing. Everyone's guilty of something." She unleashes another volley of lightning bolts, forcing Kara to take evasive action.
"Run! Get to safety!"
Cat hurries to the elevator, the doors closing as she escapes the raging battle.
Kara braces herself as Livewire unleashes a barrage of lightning bolts. The Kryptonian heroine deflects the attacks with her cape, but Livewire's speed and agility make her a difficult target. Livewire zips around the room, entering the electrical systems and using them to her advantage.
Kara tries to land a punch, but Livewire darts away, her body transforming into pure electricity. She reappears behind Kara, delivering a powerful shock that causes the hero to cry out in pain. Kara stumbles, her muscles spasming from the electrical assault.
Undeterred, Kara launches herself at Livewire, using her super speed to try and catch the villain. But Livewire anticipates her moves, weaving through the air and evading Kara's grasp. She cackles, taunting Kara as she continues her onslaught.
"What's wrong, Supergirl? Can't keep up with a little lightning?"
Kara grits her teeth, determined to stop Livewire's rampage. She scans the room, looking for a way to gain the upper hand. Spotting a fire extinguisher, Kara grabs it and unleashes a stream of foam, hoping to disrupt Livewire's electrical form.
The foam envelops Livewire, causing her to momentarily solidify. Kara seizes the opportunity and delivers a powerful punch, sending Livewire crashing into a wall. But the villain quickly recovers, her eyes glowing with fury.
"Nice try, but you can't keep me down that easily!" Livewire shouts, her body crackling with electricity.
She surges forward, her hands outstretched, electricity arcing between her fingertips. Kara braces herself, but the shocks are too powerful, causing her to stumble and fall to her knees. Livewire looms over her, a twisted grin on her face.
"Time to put the big, bad Supergirl out of commission," Livewire sneers, raising her hands to deliver a devastating blow.
Before Livewire could deal the finishing blow, Haruka came in, breaking through a window in the Faiz armor, and kicked Livewire away. He then asks if Kara is okay.
"You okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine," Kara replies, catching her breath.
Haruka, clad in the Faiz armor, stands protectively in front of Kara as Livewire glares at them.
"So the armor freak decides to show up, too," Livewire spits, her voice dripping with disdain.
She unleashes a barrage of electrical blasts at Haruka, but he swiftly dodges the attacks, his enhanced speed allowing him to evade the crackling energy. Undeterred, Haruka launches himself at Livewire, raining down a flurry of punches and kicks.
Livewire, her eyes narrowing, reaches out and grabs Haruka, her fingers digging into the Faiz armor.
"Your suit has a lot of energy," she growls, a twisted grin spreading across her face.
Haruka can feel the photon energy being siphoned from his suit, and his armor begins to sputter and malfunction. The lights dim, and he knows he's running out of power.
"Rider!" Kara cries, rushing in to separate Livewire and Haruka. The Kryptonian heroine's intervention forces Livewire to break her grip, and Haruka stumbles back, his armor barely holding together.
Livewire, her body crackling with the stolen energy, laughs maniacally.
"Thanks for the boost, Rider. Now let's see how you like being powerless."
Livewire unleashes a barrage of lightning blasts at Kara and Haruka, the crackling energy slamming into them with tremendous force. Kara and Haruka are sent hurtling through the wall, crashing into the adjacent office in a shower of debris.
Haruka's Faiz armor, its power sapped by Livewire's earlier assault, flickers and dissipates, leaving him clad in the sleek, silver-green First armor underneath. Dazed, he struggles to his feet, his gaze turning to the elevator where Cat Grant just made her escape.
Livewire cackles, her body pulsing with stolen energy. "You might want to catch that. Cat's stocks are plummeting."
With a devilish grin, Livewire fires a bolt of lightning at the elevator, causing the cables to snap. The car begins its perilous descent, plummeting rapidly down the shaft.
Kara, recovering from the impact, sees the elevator's descent and immediately takes to the air, racing to catch it before it's too late. Haruka, his Faiz armor disabled, can only watch in dismay as the Kryptonian heroine speeds to the rescue.
Livewire, satisfied with the chaos she's unleashed, dissolves into a surge of electricity, disappearing from the ruined office as Kara strains to save Cat Grant from certain doom.
Kara manages to stop the elevator in time before it hit the ground floor, flattening Cat. Kara opens the top of the elevator and sees Cat.
"You're safe now, Ms. Grant," Kara says, relief evident in her voice.
"Thank god..." Cat breathes, her usual composure shaken.
Kara carefully lifts Cat and carries her to the top floor, where Haruka stands waiting.
"You okay?" Kara asks, her brow furrowed with concern.
Haruka nods, "Yeah, I'll be fine. Thanks for the save by the way. Didn't know she can absorb energy."
"You're welcome," Kara replies, a small smile crossing her lips. She's glad she was able to help Kamen Rider as well.
The sound of sparking electricity and Livewire's cackling laughter echoes through the damaged office, drawing their attention back to the threat at hand.
"We need to stop her before she causes more damage," Kara says, her expression hardening with determination.
Haruka nods in agreement. "Any ideas on how to take her down? She drained my suit's power."
Kara nodded, her brow furrowed with concern. "I don't know. We are going to need help."
Cat's expression was grim as she regarded the two heroes. "Whatever you two will do, you better make it quick. Leslie will soon make a bigger move to take control of the city."
Kara's gaze hardened with determination. "Of course, stay safe, Ms. Grant."
Haruka turns to Kara, his expression serious. "We need to go to the DEO. They might have a way to stop Livewire."
Kara nods in agreement. "Okay, let's go." She glances at Haruka, a small smile playing on her lips. "Do you need a lift?"
Haruka feels a flush of embarrassment creep up his cheeks, but he knows time is of the essence. "Yes, please," he replies, trying to maintain his composure.
Kara gently scoops Haruka up, cradling him in her arms. With a burst of speed, she takes to the sky, leaving the damaged CatCo office behind as they head towards the DEO headquarters.
Haruka and Kara arrive at the DEO headquarters, where they find Director Chase waiting for them. Chase's stern gaze sweeps over the two heroes as they enter the command center.
"I see you two have been busy," Chase says, her voice laced with a hint of disapproval. The large screens behind her display images of the destruction caused by Livewire's attacks in different locations.
Haruka steps forward, his gaze resolute. "Director Chase, we need the DEO's help to stop Livewire. She's a threat to the entire city."
"We've been tracking Livewire's movements. She's heading towards the National City power plant, likely looking to recharge her abilities."
Kara speaks up, "Do you have a plan to stop her? We need to act fast before she causes more destruction."
"That's the problem, Supergirl. Livewire is technically a human criminal, which falls outside of the DEO's jurisdiction. I can't risk exposing this organization to the public, not when a human threat has appeared in National City."
Haruka clenches his fists, frustration evident in his posture. "So you're just going to sit back and let her continue her rampage?"
"I'm sorry, but my hands are tied. This is a matter for the NCPD to handle. You two will have to deal with Livewire on your own."
Kara's brow furrows in frustration as she listens to Director Chase's refusal to assist them. "Leslie can turn into energy and can shoot electricity from her hands. How is that not extra normal?" she argues, her voice rising.
Chase's expression remains stern. "I understand your concern, Supergirl, but the DEO's mandate is to handle extraterrestrial and metahuman threats. Livewire, for all her abilities, is still technically a human criminal. This falls under the jurisdiction of the NCPD."
Kara opens her mouth to argue further, but Haruka places a hand on her shoulder, stopping her. "Kara, we need to go. Stopping Livewire is the priority right now. We at least have her location."
Kara swallows her words, her shoulders slumping slightly. She nods, knowing Haruka is right. Without the DEO's backing, they'll have to confront Livewire on their own.
The two heroes leave the DEO command center, determined to stop Livewire before she can cause more destruction.
Kara and Haruka exit the DEO, the weight of their task ahead evident in their expressions. Kara turns to Haruka, her brow furrowed with concern.
"What do we do now?" she asks, the frustration clear in her voice.
Haruka considers their options. "I don't know. We just have to stop her."
Kara shakes her head. "I can't believe the DEO won't help."
Placing a hand on her shoulder, Haruka sighs. "They have their own priorities. Don't blame Director Chase. She is running an organization. Much as I hate it."
Kara nods, her features softening slightly. "Right... anyway, we need to head to the power plant. Will your armor be fine? I saw Leslie pretty much wreck on it."
"Don't worry, I have other armors. She won't be able to absorb them."
With a flick of his wrist, Haruka summons the sleek, futuristic form of the Auto Vajin. The advanced motorcycle revs to life, its crimson accents glowing with power. Kara watches, impressed by the machine's capabilities.
"Let's go," Haruka says, climbing onto the Auto Vajin. Kara takes and Haruka rides as they speed off towards the National City power plant, determined to confront Livewire and put a stop to her rampage.
Livewire stands at the heart of the National City Power Plant, her pale blue form crackling with electricity. She extends her arms, her fingers splaying as she absorbs the surging current around her. The air hums with the power she commands, and a twisted grin spreads across her face.
"Yes, yes, more!" Livewire crows, her voice echoing through the cavernous space. She revels in the rush of energy coursing through her veins, her power growing with each passing moment.
The lights flicker and dim as Livewire siphons the electricity, her laughter ringing out as she tightens her control over the facility. She is a living conduit, a force of nature that cannot be contained.
Haruka, clad in the sleek Kamen Rider Abyss armor, stands beside Kara at the entrance of the National City Power Plant.
"You two again? Didn't you learn anything from last time?" Livewire sneers, her pale blue form crackling with raw power.
Haruka steps forward, his stance unwavering. "Surrender now, Livewire, or things could get ugly."
Livewire's eyes narrow, and she raises her hands. "How about you buzz off!" she snarls, unleashing a torrent of electrical energy towards Haruka and Kara.
The two heroes spring into action, dodging the searing bolts as they scatter for cover.
Haruka and Kara take cover as Livewire's electrical blasts crackle around them. Kara peers out from behind a large generator, her brow furrowed in concentration.
"We need to get in close if we have any chance of stopping her," Kara says, locking eyes with Haruka.
Haruka nods, his Abyss armor gleaming. "I'll draw her fire, you flank her."
Without waiting for a response, Haruka darts out from cover, his Abyss Sabers drawn. He charges towards Livewire, deflecting her lightning bolts with swift strikes of his blades.
Livewire cackles, her eyes narrowing as she focuses her attacks on Haruka. "You're just a bug waiting to be squashed!"
As Livewire unleashes a barrage of electricity, Kara takes to the air, circling around behind the villainess. She waits for an opening, her fists clenched and ready to strike.
Haruka weaves and ducks, his agility allowing him to evade Livewire's relentless onslaught. He closes the distance, slashing and stabbing with his Abyss Sabers, but the blades seem to have little effect on Livewire's electrified form.
Kara sees her chance and dives down, slamming into Livewire with the full force of her Kryptonian strength. The impact sends Livewire tumbling, her concentration broken.
Haruka presses the advantage, unleashing a flurry of strikes with his Abyss Sabers. But as the blades connect, Livewire's body simply absorbs the attacks, the electricity coursing through her acting as a powerful defense.
"Nice try, heroes, but you're only making me stronger!" Livewire shouts, her body crackling with a blinding intensity.
Kara and Haruka are forced to retreat as Livewire's power grows, the air thick with the scent of ozone. They regroup, their expressions grim.
"Nothing's working," Kara says, frustration evident in her voice. "She keeps getting stronger."
Haruka's jaw tightens beneath his Abyss helmet. "We need to find a way to disrupt her connection to the power grid. If we can cut off her source of energy, maybe that will weaken her."
Kara nods, her mind racing. "Okay, let's try-"
Before she can finish, Livewire unleashes another devastating blast, forcing Kara and Haruka to scatter once more.
"I'll distract Livewire while you try to stop the power grid, Supergirl," he says, his voice modulated by the helmet.
Haruka activates the Strike Vent, and the Abyss Claw materializes on his right arm. He aims the claw at Livewire and unleashes a high-pressure stream of water.
The water slams into Livewire, and she cries out in pain as the liquid makes contact with her electrified form. "How do you like that?" Haruka taunts. "Electricity and water don't mix very well."
Livewire's pale blue face contorts with fury, and she retaliates by unleashing a torrent of electricity towards Haruka. "You'll pay for that, you masked freak!" she shrieks, the air crackling with her power.
Haruka braces himself, the Abyss Claw still trained on Livewire. The water stream continues to batter her, and he can see the strain it's causing her.
Kara dashes to the power plant's main control room, her Supergirl suit rustling with each step. She approaches the console, her brow furrowed as she takes in the sea of buttons and switches. "This looks... complicated," she murmurs, her fingers hovering over the various controls.
Spotting a manual nearby, Kara quickly grabs it and begins flipping through the pages. Her eyes scan the information, her Kryptonian brain processing the details at an accelerated pace. Within seconds, she has committed the essential steps to memory.
"Alright, I think I've got this," Kara says, a determined expression crossing her face. She begins methodically working the controls, her fingers flying across the console. The whirring of machinery fills the air as Kara follows the manual's instructions.
Kara quickly shuts off the power to the plant, watching as the lights dim and the hum of machinery fades.
"I did it!" she exclaims, hurrying back to the fight to help Haruka.
As the power grid goes dark, Livewire's crackling energy begins to subside. She lets out a frustrated scream, her pale blue form growing weaker. "No, no, no!" she cries, her eyes darting around the now dimly lit power plant.
Haruka seizes the opportunity, pressing his advantage. He continues to blast Livewire with the high-pressure water stream from his Abyss Claw, forcing her back. Kara arrives, joining the fray and adding her own powerful strikes to overwhelm the villainess.
Livewire's pale blue form crackled with renewed intensity as she absorbed the last vestiges of power from the darkened plant. Her eyes narrowed, and a menacing growl rumbled in her throat.
"You think turning off the power will stop me?" she snarled, her voice laced with fury. "I've taken in more than enough energy to put you two in your place!"
Electricity arced across her body, and she raised her hands, unleashing a barrage of searing bolts towards Kara and Haruka.
Kara and Haruka dodged the lightning bolts, their movements a blur as they evaded Livewire's relentless attacks. Kara flew in close as the vanguard, and she punched Livewire and sent her reeling. Haruka provided support, using the Abyss Claw to blast streams of high-pressure water at the villainess, disrupting her electrical prowess.
Livewire snarled in frustration as Kara and Haruka's combined assault pushed her back. The water from the Abyss Claw sizzled and crackled against her electrified form, and Kara's fists landed with bone-crushing force.
Gritting her teeth, Livewire summoned every ounce of her power, electricity crackling across her body. She lashed out with lightning bolts, forcing Kara and Haruka to scatter. Haruka rolled to the side, the Abyss Claw still trained on Livewire, while Kara took to the air, dodging the electrical strikes.
Seizing the opportunity, Haruka unleashed another torrent of water, the high-pressure stream slamming into Livewire. The villainess howled in pain, her concentration wavering. Kara took advantage of the opening, diving down and landing a powerful punch that sent Livewire crashing to the ground.
Livewire lay dazed, her pale blue form flickering. Kara landed beside her, her expression grim. "It's over, Leslie. Give up now."
Livewire's eyes narrowed, and she let out a ragged laugh. "Give up?" She raised her hand, electricity crackling around her fingers. "I'll never surrender, Supergirl. I now have power beyond your wildest dreams!"
With a flick of her wrist, Livewire unleashed a bolt of lightning directly at Kara. Haruka, seeing the danger, leapt in front of the attack, the Abyss Claw raised to shield them both.
The lightning struck the Abyss Claw, and Haruka grunted in pain as the electricity coursed through his armor. Kara watched in horror, her hands reaching out to help, but Haruka waved her off.
"I've got this," he said, his voice strained. Focusing his energy, Haruka redirected the lightning, channeling it through the Abyss Claw and back towards Livewire.
The villainess shrieked as the powerful bolt struck her, the electricity overwhelming her weakened form. She convulsed, her body spasming uncontrollably.
Kara watched, her eyes widening, as Livewire's pale blue skin began to fade, the electricity dissipating. Haruka maintained his grip on the Abyss Claw, refusing to let up until he was certain Livewire was defeated.
With a final, agonized cry, Livewire collapsed, her body reverting to the unconscious form of Leslie Willis. The power plant fell silent, the only sound the hum of the emergency generators.
Kara approached Haruka, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Are you okay?"
Haruka nodded, his breath ragged. "I'll be fine. How is she?"
Kara checked on Livewire and noticed she was unconscious. "She passed out," said Kara.
"That's good..." said Haruka.
Kara asked, "What should we do next? A normal cell won't hold Livewire."
As Haruka and Kara were brainstorming on what to do with Livewire, Chase and the DEO arrived to apprehend her.
Haruka and Kara were surprised to see the DEO.
Haruka said, "How convenient for you to show up." He disliked their timing.
Chase stated, "We'll apprehend Livewire."
Haruka retorted, "Wow, how shameless of you. You want to grab her after we did all the hard work. What happened to the DEO not interfering in non-alien business?"
Chase explained, "That still stands, and besides, only we have the facilities to contain metahumans."
Haruka argued, "That right there is very hypocritical. You do nothing when villains like Livewire appear. That needs to change."
Chase replied, "I can't ignore the DEO's mission."
Haruka questioned, "And what is your mission?"
Chase answered, "To apprehend aliens and to protect the people."
Haruka challenged, "Your mission is to protect the people. Does it have to be only from aliens?"
Chase thought about it, and the Rider had a point.
Chase conceded, "I guess... It doesn't have to be."
Haruka said, "That's right, the DEO needs to help stop criminals like Livewire. It doesn't matter if they are aliens or not. What's important is protecting the people."
Chase acknowledged, "Alright, the DEO will be supporting Kamen Rider and Supergirl in matters related to this. Is that enough?"
Haruka responded, "That's a start."
Kara chimed in, "Thank you."
Livewire was apprehended by the DEO agents, who swiftly secured the unconscious villainess and prepared to transport her to their specialized containment facility. Kara and Haruka watched as the DEO personnel efficiently handled the situation, grateful for their assistance.
With Livewire in custody, the focus now shifted to the implications of this new partnership between the heroes and the government agency. Haruka and Kara knew that this could open doors for better coordination and resources in their ongoing fight against metahuman threats.
