Invulnerable to neither werewolf fangs nor vampire claws..."Hear my cry o child and be one with the moon....."Hear it's cries and it's laughs at the fate of all supernatural...."The witch intoned as she laid the evil moon reader's curse on the stillborn foetus in her Luna's womb,her eyes totally white."Katleya...it's working...I can feel her heartbeat... she's alive ....my cub lives..."Leya said jubilantly as the witch's eye returned to normal ."Luna .....you don't have to yell.... there's no time ...the witches and vampires would be here anytime now so ...push"She instructed and soon the cries of a young girl child was heard and with it the war cries of their approaching assailants.Leya held her child with tears in her eyes :"It's a pity we can't be together child...you have to grow strong....find your mate who loves you despite your curse and turn the evil to good...."She concluded and passed the child over to her heretic maid and with a voice of authority asked "Have you burnt the book of encanto ...?"" Yes ..Luna .....as soon as I finished laying the curse..."She nodded her head with a sigh of relief,at least they wouldn't be able to use the book for the evil they wanted.With a hard look in her eye and knowing what she had to do she said "Get her out of here and make sure she's safe .."The heretic dropped the child in surprise"I'm not leaving you out alone ,Luna.May the Moon Goddess forbid."" Stop your nonsense and get my child out of her..... she has to live at all costs... That's the last of the Crimson Moon pack you have there and the last moonreader..... so make sure she stays alive ... that's my last order to you as your Luna "She said with finality and a clear voice as the crowd surrounded the building an began to raze it with burning torches ..... She managed a woebegone smile and said .."Go...."Katleya ran off with the child and Leya smiled and looked up at the moon.The moon seemed to be mourning with her and she closed her eyes peacefully on a tear as the flames licked at her flesh on a silent prayer."I pray......Not to the stars in the heavens,But to the moon in the horizon......Grant me this wish as I bask in your presenceLet the moon follow and watch my daughter's every step from this day on till the blessed day she finds her mate...."She made to cross over to the threshold where the flames were stronger in order to end her misery faster when she stumbled on an unconscious child.Coughing from all the smoke , she bent to look closely and she gasped:"A royal vampire child....
