I knew something was off with stacy today.she has been behaving weird this morning and was also eager to leave. she is a type that always lazies around but she was I'm a hurry to leave today.
my doubt got confirmed when I saw stacy talking to a vampire, who was all dressed in black in the forest. I never meant to track her but her behaviour earlier made me do so.
she was coming out of the forest very excited but her mood changed when she saw me. I mean I found out her secret unamed appointment was about.
" stacy was this the unamed appointment all about, to meet with a vampire!.i asked her. I was really angry because u never expected her to be with the enemy.
" shuri , wait I can explain.... is not like that.

I didn't let her finish.
" of course you will explain, let's go to my place.
I took her by the hand and we left.
" so stacy why on earth would you be seeing a vampire secretly? I asked her,... and since when have you been seeing him...for crying out loud he is a vampire stacy .... a vampire I tried to highlight.

stacy paused for a minute, she looked sad and it was as if she was holding herself back from telling me what she is upto. but whatever was wrong with her I was determined to find out what's eating her up.

she sighed...." I saw my mate that night who happens to be the soon to be Alpha; Edward. I wanted to talk to him after I went to shift back in the cave but.....I overheated his conversation with his father.

actually, I just wanted to thank him for yesterday. that's all.
I was really touched with what stacy said. I never knew how it feels to be rejected by your mate but I wondered how she would be feeling after knowing she is the true luna but would watch another take over her position.
" stacy am really sorry, I didn't know this was what you were going through all along,..
I held her hands...., but stacy you shouldn't have gone back to that forest, what if you get killed by that vampire or.. something bad happens to you...
" shuri, Andrew won't kill me , I mean he didn't kill me when he had the chance why would he kill me now?. stacy was being all confident about that so called Andrew.
stacy , you should not be soo sure , after all the vampires were the reason many wolves were lost many years ago.....I mean you know better.
" shuri , i know but , Andrew is not like that, .....I don't know but I feel comfortable with him and even cassy does.
stacy, you need to be careful and you should stopping seeing him before anyone else finds out otherwise you know the implications. I said to stacy very worried.
I mean , if any werewolf is seen with a vampire , it means the end of the world for that wolf .this is because the penalty of being friends with the enemy is death.

" shuri, I know, and that is why you need to keep this secret for me, don't even tell Nikka .if she finds out am seeing a vampire she won't take this likely.i mean I will loose my freedom.
stacy ,you can trust me on this , I won't tell anyone even my parents.i assured her.
" ok ,I need to start going home is getting late and I don't want Nikka yo come back before me.
yeah, you need to go before anyone suspects.
stacy stood up and was about to leave .
" byee, shuri I will see you later.
she waved her hands and exited through the door.

when I got home later at night. I was really scared , I didn't know if Nikka was back home yet or not. I quietly opened the door.
I looked around so that no one was around.
" Thank God. I would be thoroughly investigated if she came back before.
I went to the fridge and collected some drinks and chips . I was really hungry I haven't had anything to eat since morning and with everything that happened today I can't cook dinner.
if Nikka comes back she can find something to eat. but " why isn't she back yet . I wondered.
After having the snacks I went to bed.

I was woken up by some noise downstairs.
a loud laughter.i could hear two voices , chatting and laughing. one voice resembled that of Nikka but the other was a manly voice but I couldn't recognise it, but it actually looked familiar. I didn't know where I have heard the voice before.
" maybe is one if my cousins that came to pay us a surprise visit. I mean, Jacob " my cousin is always good at such and he didn't come to my birthday maybe he is here to makeup for it.
I quickly got UK from bed and rushed downstairs to the sitting room.
on reaching there , I was marvelled on what I saw. it was Alpha Edward.i stood firmly on the last stairs of the case. why is he here this morning. I wonderd.
he was even discussing with my sister, maybe he is here to pass the rejection.
for some reasons I was not sad, but I was filled with confidence.
" Good morning sis ,I greeted Nikka.
I turned over to Edward," Good morning Alpha Edward.
" Good morning stacy how was your night, Nikka replied.
it was good nikka.
Edward didn't say a word but nodded his head in affirmation.
I decided to ask Nikka why the Alpha was here and what was the reason for the loud laugh.
"eeemm, Nikka why were you both laughing just now .
" ooooooh, Alpha Edward was telling me how he would defeat the vampires with just a tip of his nails.isnt that hilarious?
...ooooh , I see....but why is he here this morning I asked while going to the kitchen to grab some coffee.
" yeah, he is here to invite us to the handover ceremony , which would be in next two days....
she was saying when Edward took the words.
" yes stacy, I came to invite you sisters to my coronation next two days and I would love if you two would come. ; he said with a soft smile .
I was confused, why would he come for just mere message, he could have sent someone to pass the message. I didn't believe him . "there is something more.i thought to myself .
but, Alpha Edward, you could have sent someone to deliver the message why would you come by yourself.? I asked him. I took a sip of my hot coffee, to calm down myself.
" yh, you are right, I came to tell Nikka somethin...g mo..re....but before that can...i ..see you for a minute...he said stressing words .
I knew what he was here for, I looked at Nikka and saw she was blushing, I guess he has already proposed to her to be the new luna. I knew she was happy , i didn't want to spoil her happiness. I was ready for the rejection.
" sure, let's go outside....i turned to nikka....nikka , we would be right back .
Edward and I went to the front yard.
he stood there looking at me speechlessly.i knew the word was heavy in his mouth.
" pass, the rejection already. I mean, that is why you are here in the first place.
" how do you know, I really can't....
, I don't want to hurt your feelings...
Alpha Edward, you are not hurting my feelings, I...have a man I love...and I want to be with him ...so this would be good for all...I said.
I lied to him , I wanted him to pass out the rejection already.

ge was being selfish at this moment. he has already proposed to my sister but won't pass out the rejection.
I went back inside and pretended nothing happened.
" stacy, what did he tell you?. Nikka asked.

" yeah, I can see he told you already, he proposed to me to be his luna.nikka responded.
wow, so my sister would be the next luna of the deep water pack .am soo happy for you.
" yeah, I know but I feel sad for his mate ,..I mean the true luna would be rejected...
... and who says so, maybe the mate might be in love with another..and this would be good for both.

Anyway Nikka ,what's your plan today. I asked Nikka.
" I will go to the training camp today, actually i will not be coming back today , the newbies need to get trained very well....we don't know when Namor would attack the pack. she said.
" that's true, well am not going anywhere, shuri have class today and I ...don't have any other place to go.i will just sit and eat the apples in the Fridge.
" ok, I will be on my way now, there is some money in the drawer, in case If you need them, nikka said.
she took her bag from the table , where she was sitting. she stood up and left.
" bye nikka, I waved at her.
