Li Feng increased the speed of the car, and soon they arrived at the Fu family mansion. As soon as the car came to a halt, the door was violently kicked open. Fu Hannen stepped out, holding Gu Yicing, whose clothes were in disarray, as he charged like a storm into the mansion and up the stairs to the second floor.
Chen Ma, who was sitting in the living room, saw the young master and mistress heading upstairs, unusually close and intimate, and her eyes widened in surprise.
Li Feng entered the room with a smile, rubbing his chin in amusement, wearing the expression of a satisfied uncle watching from the sidelines. Finally, the young master was showing interest in a woman again.

Back in the bedroom on the second floor, Fu Hannen tossed Gu Yicing onto the large bed and pulled off his tie, his usually icy eyes now softened by a haze of desire. It seemed they were both hurtling toward an inevitable conclusion.
But just as they were about to cross that final line, Gu Yicing suddenly lashed out with a powerful kick, sending Fu Hannen sprawling backward. If he hadn't been in peak physical condition, she might have knocked him straight to the floor.
The tenderness on his face instantly vanished, replaced by a seething rage. "Gu Yicing... What do you think you're doing now?"
Blushing furiously, Gu Yicing scrambled to sit up, shaking her head vigorously. "We can't! I'm in a dangerous period right now; it's very likely I could get pregnant. I was injected with a drug, and this kind of drug can have serious effects on future embryos. If I'm going to have a child, it has to be with the healthiest genes. I can't let anything go wrong with the process."
Muttering her explanations, she tumbled off the bed and staggered around the room until she found a set of acupuncture needles she had once used on Fu Hannen. Clutching them tightly, she stumbled into his bathroom.
She was in such a hurry that she didn't even bother closing the door. She crawled into his private bathtub and turned on the cold water, sinking into the tub as the freezing water began to cover her body.
The chilling sensation of the water made her skin tingle, quelling some of the fire burning within her.
Fu Hannen, still standing by the bed, clenched his fists, his expression dark as coal. His entire body exuded an aura of freezing cold fury.
She... she had played him again. She had ignited him, only to abruptly extinguish the flames on a whim. What did she take him for? A tool to satisfy her desire for a child?
Damn it!
The whole situation was an unspeakable humiliation.
Gu Yicing, you've crossed the line. Don't ever come begging me to touch you again. You've made your bed.
Grinding his teeth, Fu Hannen grabbed a fresh set of clothes from the closet, roughly pulling them on. His lips pressed into a thin line of fury, he stormed out of the room.
Bang!
The bedroom door slammed shut behind him.
Downstairs, Li Feng and Chen Ma were still discussing the situation upstairs when Fu Hannen descended the stairs, now dressed in a casual shirt, his expression a storm of anger. Without sparing a glance at anyone, he headed straight for the door.
"Young master..." Li Feng began, but before he could finish, the roar of an engine pierced the air, and Fu Hannen's car sped out of the driveway in a blur.
Li Feng stood at the door, dumbfounded, turning to Chen Ma with a bewildered expression. What just happened? Did the young master leave because it was over too quickly? Or did the young mistress reject the young master, making the experience less than ideal for her?

Meanwhile, Gu Yicing was leaning against the edge of the bathtub, her eyes closed, as the cold water slowly rose around her neck. Finally, feeling somewhat more in control, she reached out to shut off the faucet.
The fire inside her had subsided somewhat, and her mind was gradually clearing. However, in order to completely eliminate the effects of the drug, she would need to use acupuncture to stimulate specific points and speed up the process of dispersing the remaining toxins.
