"Work was soo fun. I met a lot of people and even made a friend, Odette. We were very close and did everything together. There were times she would try to woo me into dating but dating was and is still not my thing. She dated and broke up several times, until she met Fletcher. I had advised her countless times about him. I had a bad feeling about him but she will never listen.
A month and few weeks ago, she texted me to meet her at a hotel. Ignorant as I was, I went to meet her. She began to tell me that Fletcher has broken up with her and is now dating another girl. I didn't know that she had her own plans. She drugged me and made a bunch of guys take my virginity. I was shuttered but decided to be strong. A month after the incident, I realized that I am pregnant. "I said and broke down.
"It's alright Sarah. It's alright." Mrs. Daisy consoled.
"Sorry about that. Everything will be fine" Astrid said.
I felt much lighter after telling them. Days passed after my arrival in Netherlands. The comic industry has not called yet. I began to worry. I can't be staying at home every day. I asked Astrid and unfortunately, I wasn't accepted. I then told Astrid and her parents that I have decided to do any petty job to cater for myself and Gladi. I didn't want to be a burden on them.
"We can pay his fees" Astrid said.
"It's not about that. I want to work and take care of her. I can't depend on you guys forever. I will be a mother soon. Which mother will want her child to see her as lazy? Please. Just allow me to look for a job. Please " I pleaded. Hopefully, they accepted.
I decided not to go to any company for a job. I can be a sales person. I had a job in the market centre as a sales girl. Salary was not bad. Months passed. I send half of my salary to my brother and I keep the other half. I have been able to buy an apartment. I can't stay in Astrid's house forever. These passed months was exciting. I met Astrid's boyfriend. I went out, had fun and work was going on smoothly. Unexpectedly, I became very close to Luke. It was like we've been friends for ages. He was the one taking care of me.
