"Me?"
Daphne, with her mind in a muddle, couldn't understand the meaning of this sentence for a moment. She asked back in a soft and coquettish voice, which, however, only made Edith's smile even broader.
"With the noble appearance of Elenna Perkins, yet so easy to bully, and with your weakness in my hands—" The angelic smile of the young girl couldn't erase the fear and panic that her words brought to Daphne. "My lovely lady, you don't want others to know that you're actually a half-vampire, do you? Be good and be mine. I won't treat you badly."
Her image had completely collapsed. Daphne had never expected that she would be threatened by Edith one day.
Was all her previous gentleness and innocence just a facade?
Rather than being forced to do something, Daphne was more heartbroken that she had been deceived for six years. She had thought that she could rely on Edith when she came back here, but she hadn't expected that she would end up at Edith's mercy.
"Why?"
Her emerald-green eyes were misty, and tears filled her eyes.
But Daphne was still unwilling to give in. She always wanted to hear some explanations from Edith's mouth.
"You're so cute. Why do you ask such a question?" Edith moved her face a little closer. The young girl's cherry lips parted slightly, and her warm breath blew on Daphne's neck, making her feel itchy. "How could I miss the opportunity to devour a little cutie like you?"
Oh... Was she a hidden carnivore?
It felt so dangerous. She had to find a chance to escape.
Her heart was pounding non-stop. Edith's breath and the floral fragrance on her body made Daphne feel hot and limp all over.
She looked away, no longer looking into Edith's sea-blue eyes that seemed to have a strange magic. In her restless mind, she was still stubbornly thinking about how to escape from here.
However, all of the half-vampire girl's little thoughts were seen clearly by Edith. The blonde girl just gave a light laugh and then pressed herself against Daphne's cheek and ear.
Just a few rubs, and Daphne surrendered.
"I... I can't stand anymore..." Her delicate voice was tinged with a sob.
"That's right. Just leave everything to me."
Edith's words lingering in her ear were as gentle as long, slender fingers falling on the piano keys. For a moment, Daphne actually had the thought of giving up thinking and surrendering herself to her.
But before Daphne could voice her objection, her slightly parted cherry-colored, crystal-clear lips were seized by Edith at the right moment.
Daphne's mood was complicated.
She really loved Edith dearly. Even though she knew Edith's true nature, she still couldn't bring herself to dislike her. But being demanded and kissed like this, she really didn't know how she should face Edith in the future.
Her limbs were numb. If Edith hadn't firmly pinned her arms against the wall, Daphne would probably have collapsed on the ground already.
The double suppression of height and strength was like an insurmountable mountain. Daphne only felt a deep sense of helplessness and involuntarily began to submit and give up resistance.
She loosened her grip for a moment.
The half-vampire girl finally had a chance to catch her breath. She subconsciously opened her jaws, not knowing that it was Edith's ploy of feigning retreat to entice her enemy in deeper.
Edith pressed close again, and suddenly, Daphne saw stars before her eyes as if snowflakes were falling. Her toes couldn't help but rise slightly on tiptoe.
It didn't stop until the half-vampire girl's cheeks were flushed and she had difficulty breathing. As soon as Edith let go, Daphne immediately slumped down limply.
She managed to lean against the wall to support her weak and limp body. Her silver hair hung down messily from her forehead. A blush like pink clouds colored her porcelain-white cheeks, and her emerald-green eyes were as soft and charming as silk.
She couldn't think. Her mind was blank.
Tears uncontrollably welled up in her eyes, rolled down her cheeks, and dropped onto the snow-white, holy robe of the grand cantor. A sense of confusion welled up from within her.
What should she do?
She had originally wanted to resist the R18MOD and keep her chastity. Now not only was she no longer "pure", but the one who had taken advantage of her was Edith, who had once seemed like an angel.
Daphne felt as if the sky had fallen.
Edith naturally wouldn't understand the struggles and pain in the heart of the former Pope. She seemed to be savoring something as she gently rubbed the edge of her cherry-pink lips with her index finger.
Daphne actually saw a trace of charm in her, and this word really didn't suit Edith at all.
"What's your real name, little half-vampire?" The young girl twirled the golden curly hair at her shoulder and asked teasingly, "Don't lie, or I'll bite you again."
"Uh..." Daphne shrank her body and trembled as she leaned against the wall.
"D-Daphne..."
"What a lovely name~ I've heard that half-vampires are generally good-looking. I'm also looking forward to seeing your original appearance. It must be even cuter than now, right?" Edith bent down and reached out to Daphne. Her smile at this moment returned to being gentle and warm.
But in Daphne's heart, Edith was no longer the angelic young girl. She only felt that there was deep malice hidden in Edith's smile.
"What's wrong?" Edith's smile remained unchanged, and her voice was soft. "Do you want to show me your original appearance now?"
"N-No..."
"Right. Of course not." Edith shook her hand gently to emphasize her presence. "The grand cantor of the Holy Mary Religious Domain, Elenna Perkins, should be resting quietly now. You mustn't show your half-vampire appearance to Edith, the cantor of the Salentz Religious Domain."
"And don't try to escape either. I'll tell my sister. Her Highness the Saintess hates vampires the most. She'll definitely catch up with you." The smile disappeared in an instant, and Edith's tone became low. Her icy expression made Daphne feel strange.
"I... I understand..." Daphne could only accept it. She timidly reached out to accept Edith's help.
As if nothing had happened just now, Edith pulled Daphne, whose legs were so weak that she could hardly stand, to her feet and then tidied up her robe and hair for her.
If there had been a bystander, they might have thought that this scene was warm and harmonious.
But in fact, only Daphne herself could hear Edith's soft whispers in her ear.
"Please give me more guidance in the following period of time, Miss Elenna Perkins."
