Eight hours in, a group of fairies arrived, they flew around like tiny stars, glowing in shades of green, blue, and gold. Their wings were thin and sparkling, moving so fast you could lose sight of them. They were small, about the size of a thumb, with delicate faces and bright eyes full of wonder.
Their hair was long and messy, tangled with bits of leaves and flowers. They wore outfits made from leaves and petals, looking like they belonged in nature. Some held tiny tools—a needle-like stick here, a thorny twig there—but they looked ready to use them at any moment.
They hovered in front of me curiously, the people of Grayheart seemed used to them, giving them space.
"You are not in need of my medicine, what brings you here, forest guardians?"
