"The saint's well at city center has free drinking water, why come here?" Angelina was skeptical.
"That's too far, i'm too old to walk so far," The old lady replied.
I could hear Angelina's grip on her knife loosen slightly.
"Sit down, i'll get you some water," She told the old lady and pointed her to a table.
"Thank you, dear,"
I watched in silence, a smile on my face. My instincts didn't warn me, so I felt there was nothing to worry about.
Angelina brought her some water and she sat down to drink.
Angelina sat beside me, and we looked at the old lady trying to figure out what was wrong. Something had to be, but I just didn't know what.
"You two love birds remind me of my younger days, me and my jack used to spend the whole day just looking at each other, frozen in love." The old lady suddenly said.
"Oh, we're not-"
