How could that even be possible? Let alone the process, even the idea of creating fragment of Chronos was unrealistic to me. If that was possible, wouldn't the entity doing such a thing be even stronger then the constellations?
Hali was waiting for me to say anything, of course the news was somewhat disturbing, but at the end of the day, what could I even do with it?
"Why are you telling this to me? I'm literally a 2nd circle mage, on bad terms with your big bosses, not of divine blood and not even sure how long I'll be allowed to live."
"Well… just to give you an heads-up, you did save me. My quest was also related to investigation more so then resolution…"
I couldn't believe my ears, her quest meant that the constellations or at least the Akashic records were well aware of what was going on, that brought up the question:
"Are they in favour of such a thing?"
Hali was stunned, she clearly didn't expect me to grasp the situation so easily.
"They are split… no decision has been made."
"I see. Well… good luck."
I was ready to leave and find a place to hide and rest, there were still plenty of enemies around and even if the ship was basically on fire at this point, it was smarter to be safe then sorry.
"Wait! I need to reward you somehow! My father told me about the divine promise, why wouldn't you tell me anything?!"
"Can your daddy bring my crew and I to Itaca?"
"…"
"Thought so. I really don't need a reward. Just forget about this whole situation."
"That won't do Dimitris, a divine promise needs to be upheld. I will give you a reward, I just thought it would be better to have you decide for yourself."
I looked into Hali's eyes for sometimes thinking of how to fuck up Poseidon as much as possible.
If you're so keen on giving me a reward I might as well fuck you up.
"Give me five minutes, I'll be back after consulting with my Master."
Exiting the room I quickly found a place to hide and set up a sacrificial ritual.
Throwing the mana gun into the fire I begun my prayer.
"The mage of flowers I need advice"
[what's up?]
"That big fisherman boss wants to give me a reward no matter what, but he said he can't bring us to Itaca… can I ask for…"
[oh… you can but...]
"Good, take the gun we'll make Odysseus try and recreate it"
[on it!]

-Hali's POV-
"Father he doesn't seem interested in the fragments issue…"
[he just doesn't know the implications, he's a rude bastard, but if those he loves are in danger he could bring the underworld on earth]
"But he's just a 2nd circle mage…"
[you don't need to worry, also, I'll bring your ship near his. You will be travelling together, maybe that way he'll be convinced I don't want them to die.]
"As you wish father."
The door opened and Dimitris entered donning a beautiful smile.
This man's beauty could easily cause wars…
I didn't realise when I started thinking that way, but I quickly got a hold of myself and waited for him to make his request. Whatever it was, my father had promised and I honestly thought no price was big enough for my life.
"I've made my decision."
He started all smiles and the purity of a divine being. But then…
"It will either be this or I want the promise to be considered broken."
The air suddenly crackled. The aura around us was suffocating, it was clear his antics had caused great rage in the constellations.
[you dare mortal?]
"I don't give a fuck. You were the one to make the promise, not me."
How can he be so bold in front of a constellation's aura?
My blood was freezing just being near it, but he seemed completely unfazed. As his divine punishment wasn't even an option for him.
[make your request.]
"Ichor."
Time seemed to be frozen, the sheer audacity of a mortal asking for divine blood was something no one had ever even imagined to be possible, let alone execute.
[YOU DARE ASK FOR MY BLOOD? DO YOU WISH TO DIE?]
"The fuck are you talking about? I didn't say I wanted your ichor. Let me finish and then decide for fuck sake."
Like the greatest mind spell possible, his words had the perfect effect. Time resumed, and calmness returned.
[continue.]
"I want the complete analysis of ichor in a form I can understand."
[and what are you going to do with that? You know ichor can't be created.]
"Might as well try, people here are trying to create a fucking titan, I can at least study you all."
"Dimitris what the fuck?! You can't ask my father's ichor analysis! Are you trying to create a god of the sea?"
"When the fuck did I say it needed to be his?!"
He then continued to explain.
"Seeing how he sent you to investigate this time fissure, it is safe to assume he's one of those against this madness. If he wants to give me his analysis I will accept it of course, but I thought it'd be nice to maybe have an accident involving someone who is favouring this shit and… you know…"

-Dimitris POV-
"So to sum it up, I don't care where the ichor comes from, just let me know who it belongs to afterwards."
As soon as my word came to reality, the word seemed to tremble. The sea became tumultuous and an hysterical laughter erupted from every where.
[HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA YOU DEFIANT OF THE STARS SURE KNOW HOW TO ENTERTAIN ME.]
I didn't know how to react, Hali was as pale as a ghost, Poseidon was having the time of his life and I was left there standing?
So is he gonna do it or not?
[which one would you like?]
"How would I know? I don't know your dynamics up there, do I?"
[for now, Ares, Aphrodite and Dionysus are in favour of this madness.]
"Fuck, nothing much I can use there… well whatever, pick the one you like the least, I don't care for them."
[what about my brother?]
"Daddy underworld? No I quite like him, he opened my eyes on an existential crisis for me."
[daddy…? Hades? What the fuck? I meant Zeus!]
"Ah…"
Blush crept on my face. I called Hades daddy in front of Poseidon not even considering for a second the existence of Zeus.
"Well… he is still Her husband, I don't want to hurt my girl."
[you are a complete psychopath.]
Suddenly the air grew tense again, Hali was on the verge of collapsing, but I felt like being held by a loving mother, as if in a cacoon protected by all evil.
[the ONLY housewife is permitted descent. According to the rules, her powers are sealed to those of the weakest human present to not sacrifice probability]
What the fuck is going on?
A beautiful woman with a long blond braid and emerald eyes appeared before me, her figure putting to shame the most beautiful woman in my old world. A slight blush decorating her already perfect face and just as her form was completed, she approached me.
Hera, the goddess of marriage was approaching me with a smile and just like what happened with the influence of the world tree, my heart was exploding with happiness.
"How…? Mother…?"
Yes, except for the otherworldly beauty, she was the split perfect portrait of my mother.
Tears started flowing uncontrollably, never would I have imagined I could see my mum again and with the broken heart of I child wishing for nothing but the caring love of a mother my brain stopped working.
"Mum… mum! How can you be here!?"
I launched myself at her hugging her with all the love I wasn't able to express in my past life. Tears continued to flow and her hand started to stoke my back while she was whispering calming words to my ear.
After a few minutes of outburst I was finally able to regain control of myself and realised how rude I had been.
"I'm deeply sorry, please forgive me… it's just… you look exactly like my mother."
"I know dear, mortals can only see their mother when I appear."
"Oh… again I'm sorry."
[Hera what the fuck are you doing descending with the body of a human, everyone could kill you.]
"I'm positive my child Dimitris will protect me."
When she called me her child, tears threatened to come out again, but this time I was able to control myself, somewhat… nothing could stop the smile on my face.
[look how happy that bastards look just 'cause you called him child, I'm afraid of what would happened if you…]
"That's enough Poseidon."
[of course]
"Now where was I? Ah! Dimitris dear, come here."
Like a puppy called to go on a walk I blinked in front of Hera to not waste a second of her time.
"Such a pretty spell, Merlin did a good job creating this spell for you. Now! I heard you wanted to study Ichor yes?"
"If it offends you, I will not. I'll accept a candy as a reward if you want me to."
"Hahahahaha, isn't my child a cute one? That's not why I descend dear, don't worry"
"Whatever you wish for moth…"
Clasping my hands before my mouth I stopped myself from embarrassment again, but Hera had a different idea.
"I'm not opposed to adopting you dear, but I simply can't. You can and will study the ichor Poseidon will provide, but I came here for something else."
"You know how my husband has been engaging in regretful acts?"
"I'm sorry mother… if I could do something for you, anything. I'd do it."
At this point I just couldn't stop myself, her appearance paired with the energy she exuded was to much to contain myself.
"Hahahahaha, very well. Drink this my dear."
She took out a vial shining with a deep golden hue and I drank it all without even thinking of waiting for an explanation. If She wanted me to drink it, drink I would. But then I felt my body starting to burn at levels I couldn't even explain.
The pain from the salamander spirit formula was a drop of water, and this was a full on lake.
Clutching my chest and barely holding to consciousness I looked at Hera who was smiling to reassure me that everything would have been fine.
"I love you, mother."
"Good job child, now sleep."
Those were the last words I heard before completely loosing myself to slumber.
"You, Poseidon's daughter. Come here."
Hali jumped up and run to prostrate herself before Hera. All the situation was already absurd enough, being called by a constellation was just the cherry to top it all.
"You better kill those feelings that are starting to bloom for my child."
Her voice menacing, the atmosphere threatening with a death glare until Poseidon interrupted.
[you can't possibly be serious, have you seen the man? I heard Aphrodite make comment on him.]
"She better tone it down then."
[either way, how come you gave him pure ichor to drink? You think he'll survive?]
"Of course he will, I have such authority."
[what do you mean?]
"As I was trying to explain before Dimitris blindly followed my orders as if his life depended on making me happy… hahahah that cute child… my husband has entertained regretful actions creating various demigods. To make me let them live he gave me authority to create a Demi-god with his ichor, of course the purest and the strongest of his ichor."
[you mean to say…]
"Yes. He will officially become my child, he is the first son of Zeus blessed by Hera."
[why not just force him into a contract, for you he would sell his soul.]
"You Poseidon have clearly failed in understanding the love of a parent."
"Hali, you will travel with them and understand."
[but he hates us.]
"Rightfully so! How dare the Stars touch what's mine and make him suffer?!"
[you are just as crazy as him, it almost looks like he's your real son.]
While the gods were chatting like nothing in the world mattered Hali was sweating profusely not understanding what was going on. How could Dimitris behave like that in front of a constellation, but most importantly, how could the ONLY housewife behave like that?!
It was common knowledge that she would hunt all the Demi-gods of The Lightning Bringer to the end of the world yet here she was creating one of her own. AND she even likes him? Never had she even looked at a mortal, yet Dimitris was able to enchant her?
She also didn't forget how She had threatened her to stop her feelings for Dimitris before they even started.
As the chitchat continued, the time given to duo ended and they were forcibly expelled from the collapsing time fissure.
