As the moonlight broke over the Nevada desert, the Autobots and their passengers drove steadily toward the seemingly barren expanse around Hoover Dam. Optimus Prime, rolling at the front of the convoy, led the way, his determined focus unwavering. The rest of the Autobots followed closely, each vehicle carrying a blend of humans as they moved toward Sector 7.
Simmons pulled out a secure-looking cell phone, pressing a button before speaking in an authoritative tone. "This is Simmons, open the gate."
Moments later, a seemingly plain stretch of wall shifted, retracting to reveal a large hidden entryway. Optimus eased forward, his form fitting perfectly through the opening as they entered the hidden Sector 7 facility within Hoover Dam. The rest of the Autobots followed closely behind, camouflaged as civilian vehicles.
When they came to a stop inside the facility, a mix of military personnel and scientists awaited them. Lights shone brightly from all directions, casting shadows across the cavernous interior. Sam, Mikaela, and Simmons climbed out of Optimus's cab, followed by Sam's parents, who looked around in shock after exiting Bumblebee. More agents, scientists, and high-ranking officers moved to surround the new arrivals, each one taking in the unusual group that had arrived in the middle of the night.
Simmons walked up to a tall, authoritative figure, nodding in respect. "Sergeant Keller," he greeted, then motioned to a familiar face nearby. "Captain Lennox."
Keller, a serious man with the weight of classified information resting heavily on his shoulders, turned to Sam and his family. Simmons cleared his throat. "Sergeant Keller, Captain Lennox, this is Sam Witwickyand his family."
Sam raised a hand in a casual greeting, while his parents looked around, still baffled by the entire situation. His dad, Ron Witwicky, was the first to break the silence, his voice tinged with a mixture of anxiety and annoyance.
"Alright, somebody's got to tell me what the hell's going on," Ron demanded, fixing Keller with a fierce look. "Why did secret agents storm into our house like I was some kind of criminal? I'm a law-abiding citizen, for crying out loud. I pay my taxes!"
Keller was about to answer when another man in a black suit stepped forward, his presence exuding an air of authority. He extended a hand politely toward Ron, though his face remained solemn.
"I can explain, Mr. Witwicky," the man said, his voice calm and measured.
Ron turned to the man, narrowing his eyes. "And who are you, exactly?"
Simmons, ever the eager introducer, interjected. "That's Tom Banachek, head of the Advanced Research Division here at Sector 7."
Ron gave Banachek a skeptical look. "Well, nice to meet you, Mr. Banachek," he said, his voice laced with sarcasm. "Now maybe you can explain why my family was manhandled by agents and dragged halfway across the country only to get mixed up in some giant robot attack?"
Captain Lennox, standing nearby, nodded in agreement. "I'd like to know the same thing. My team and I were attacked in Qatar by some… thing. We barely made it out of there."
Banachek held up his hand to ease their concerns, his expression serious. "Sector Seven is a special-access division of the government, convened under President Hoover eighty years ago. During a covert mission to Mars, we discovered evidence of extraterrestrial life… mechanical life, in fact. These beings , giant 'robots' if you will, have been hidden from public knowledge. Sector 7 was established to protect and study these discoveries."
Banachek paused, allowing this information to sink in. The group looked at each other in varying degrees of disbelief and shock, trying to process the revelation.
"For eight decades, we've studied these entities in secret," Banachek continued, "But it appears that the extraterrestrials have resurfaced ,which brings us to all of you. You're here because you've encountered them knowingly or not, you're now connected."
Simmons took a step forward, a more dramatic tone coloring his voice. "Now, folks, everything you're about to see and hear is classified. Sharing this with anyone would be an immediate breach of national security."
He led the group down a series of hallways, their footsteps echoing through the sterile environment as they approached a vast chamber sealed behind thick glass. Inside, a colossal figure lay encased in ice cold, dark, and unmoving, yet undeniably alive.
"This," Banachek gestured grandly, "is NBE-1. A few decades ago, an explorer named Archibald Witwicky stumbled upon it. Since then, Sector Seven has devoted itself to studying this creature and the technology surrounding it."
"Uh, NBE-1?" Lennox questioned, exchanging a look with Keller.
Simmons chimed in, ever the eager informant. "Non-Biological Extraterrestrial, Captain. We've been using what we've learned from him to power our own advancements. Lasers, microchips, even spaceflight technology, none of it would exist without reverse engineering from this guy."
Keller's brow furrowed in disbelief. "You're saying this… thing is the source of all our modern tech? And the U.S. military never knew?"
Banachek straightened, his voice firm. "This operation is classified at the highest levels. It's buried deep under national security. Only a select few know the full extent."
At this, Sam stepped forward, staring up at the massive, frozen form of the Decepticon. He looked back at Banachek, his face deadly serious. "The giant robot in the ice, he's not just any machine. His name is Megatron, and he's basically the harbinger of death."
Banachek's eyes narrowed as he fixed Sam with a piercing gaze. "Son, I need you to listen to me very carefully. Lives are at stake here. We need to know everything you know now."
Sam took a breath, pretending to consider. "Fine. But I have a few conditions."
Banachek folded his arms. "What conditions?"
Sam gestured toward his parents. "First, I want my parents compensated for the emotional trauma. Maybe you should write that down," he added, glancing at Simmons, who rolled his eyes.
"Oh," Sam continued, pointing to Mikaela, "and her juvie record? That needs to disappear. Like, permanently."
Mikaela's eyes widened, surprise and gratitude flashing across her face as she glanced at Sam. Simmons, on the other hand, could only sigh, muttering under his breath. "Kid's a damn extortionist…"
Banachek glanced at Simmons, who nodded reluctantly. Sighing, Banachek turned back to Sam. "Alright, fine. We'll take care of it. Now, what can you tell us?"
A slight smile crossed Sam's face as he stepped back. "Actually, I think it'd be better if someone else did the explaining."
At that exact moment, all the vehicles that had brought them here began shifting and transforming. Wheels rotated, panels unfolded, and arms and legs emerged as the Autobots took their true forms in front of the stunned Sector 7 personnel. Optimus Prime stood tall at the forefront, his towering form exuding both strength and calm authority.
The collective gasp of astonishment echoed through the room as the humans looked up at the Autobots, their towering forms filling the chamber. Banachek and the other Sector 7 personnel could only stare, wide-eyed, unable to process what they were witnessing.
Sam took a step forward, breaking the stunned silence. He gestured up to the massive blue and red figure in front of them.
"Everyone," Sam announced, a smirk tugging at his lips, "I'd like you to meet Optimus Prime."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The atmosphere inside Sector Seven's secret base was tense. In the dim lighting of the Hoover Dam's inner chambers, Sam, Mikaela, and the rest of the humans found themselves dwarfed by Optimus Prime and the Autobots, towering figures now revealed in their true forms. For a moment, there was only stunned silence as Optimus took a few purposeful steps forward, his gaze fixed on Banachek, Keller, and Lennox.
" Greetings ,Humans of Sector Seven."he rumbled, "I am Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots. We come from a distant planet, Cybertron, We've come in peace, we have journeyed far to protect the Allspark from the decipticons and we have also have come to retrieve the AllSpark and leave your planet."
Banachek, visibly wary, stepped forward and folded his arms. "You say you come in peace, Optimus Prime, but forgive us if we're having a hard time buying that," he said with a skeptical arch of his brow. "How can we trust that you're really the good guys?"
Optimus met Banachek's gaze calmly, his towering form somehow radiating a gentle patience. "Trust is not given lightly. Nor do I expect it immediately," he replied. "But I assure you, our only desire is to retrieve the AllSpark to prevent further destruction. This artifact… it holds incredible power, one that Megatron, the one you call NBE-1, would misuse to bring ruin upon this world."
Banachek, ever skeptical, glanced sideways at Simmons , who gave a brief nod. He faced Optimus, crossing his arms. "So, you're telling me you're the 'good guys,' and he's not." pionting towards NBE-1
Optimus gazed steadily at Banachek, the metallic blue of his optics reflecting a sense of determination and calm. "I do not ask for your belief, only your understanding. We Autobots seek only to retrieve the All Spark and then leave your world in peace."
Optimus's words hung in the air as he stepped forward toward the frozen Megatron. His tone grew solemn, his voice echoing with an ancient gravity. "The being you call NBE-1 was once my brother-in-arms on Cybertron. Together, we protected our world, fueled by the All Spark's energy. But ambition corrupted him, turning him into a harbinger of destruction."
Lennox and Keller exchanged uncertain glances, the gravity of Optimus's words beginning to sink in.
"And this… AllSpark?" Keller asked, his voice both cautious and curious. "What exactly is it?"
Optimus's optics shifted back to the humans. "The AllSpark is a source of life itself, capable of creating entire worlds. Whoever holds it possesses the power to shape reality, to give life or to destroy it. Megatron pursued it here, hoping to use its energy to conquer, but he failed to retrieve it " His gaze grew solemn. " Thats why it must never fall into the Megatron or his decepticons hands wrong."
Banachek sighed, glancing toward the others. "So, you claim you only want the AllSpark, and then you'll leave? Just like that?"
Optimus nodded, unyielding yet earnest. "Yes. We Autobots have no intention of remaining here or interfering with your world beyond what is necessary."
The gravity of the situation seemed to weigh on everyone present. Banachek looked down, tapping a finger thoughtfully against his chin. After a long pause, he looked back up, resignation in his eyes. "Fine. Follow me."
With an apprehensive glance over his shoulder at the giant Autobot, Banachek led the group down a series of long, heavily-guarded corridors deep into the dam's interior, passing guards, scientists, and equipment with high-security clearance markers plastered everywhere. Finally, they entered an enormous chamber, and there in the center, surrounded by layers of thick concrete, rested the massive, dormant cube .
As Optimus and the Autobots laid their etyes on the cube they all couldnt help but mutter "the All Spark."
"This cube has been here since 1913. President Hoover built this dam specifically to contain and hide its alien energy signature they knew it was alien because of matching hieroglyphics on both the Cube and NBE-1, making the dam built around it as a perfect disguise. " Banachek explained, his voice betraying a hint of pride as he gestured to the artifact.
He motioned to the massive walls around them. "These walls are four football fields thick. Only we and the original 'First Seven' have known about it since its discovery."
Optimus took a step forward, awe and reverence visible even through his metallic form. "The All Spark," he murmured, " The key to our worlds survival, it's been here hidden for so long."
He reached out a hand to touch the surface of the All Spark, and the cube responded immediately, energy surging through Optimus as it slowly began to transform in his presence. The giant structure folded in on itself, shrinking down until it was no larger than the size of a human head, small enough for Optimus to hold.
Optimus let out a sigh of relief. "The All Spark is in safe hands once more."
The Autobots looked at each other in amazement, relieved to see the AllSpark contained and ready for their return.
Optimus turned back to the group. "At last… our mission nears completion." His optics gleamed with hope, and he held the AllSpark with an almost paternal care.
Before anyone could celebrate, a sudden blast echoed through the facility. The walls shook, and red warning lights began flashing, filling the chamber with an ominous glow.
"What the hell?" Lennox shouted over the din, immediately reaching for his radio. "Report! What's going on up there?"
In the chaos, Sam's earpiece crackled to life, and Alfred's voice came through, "Sam,.I've detected a a large group of Decepticons attacking Sector 7 and more seemto be on there way ."
Sam clenched his fists, adrenaline coursing through him. "Alfred, prep the suits. It looks like things are about to get messy."
