Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!
Mitsuru and Xi hung out at the docks all day. They did not play Eve today. The 'con was still next year.
They were watching boats pass by as the sun set. They held hands and walked back to their small home town. The docks were in another town, far along the coast. They watched and ate ice cream at a small shop before going back home. Xi dropped Mitsuru off at her home and went back to his. He talked to Mitsuru over the corded telephone he and his parents had at his parent's' place, where he lived. They owned the place. They still had not forgave him for his transgressions. He got online and read Chinese news on his VR headset device and with his joysticks scrolled through the news, watched videos and even played around on the Eve forums some. He talked to his parents, and they did not notice he had his electronics, when he was not supposed to have them. Mitsuru was at her house, in her old Japanese-style room, playing Eve. She was trying to fight another player for the better half of an hour. She was trying too hard, she decided, and ended up winning in an instant once she found out the rotation, she needed to collapse their spirit with her characters awesome might. She told people on the forum that she was the better player by far. She wrote,
"I had this encounter in Eve tonight. I had just gotten home from playing with my friend, Xi, down by the water in Fengxuan district in eastern China. Do you know of that place where by the water's edge there is a soft drift and boats rarely capsize in the mainland's visage? It is the kind of place where people and their dreams go when they are tired of the city life. We sat there and watched the ocean calmly. Today, a player had tried to win a fight against the Fictitious_Roses. It will not be something you will ever witness, my friend, because that is just not how this game will go with the Fictitious_Roses or your player here, Mitsuru Abhagasta, the player of Auria, the most vicious fighter of clan Fictitious_Roses! She is an awesome, mighty, and even soul-sucking person to ever meet in one-on-one combat, my friend. You are not going to win against me!"
She said this and laughed. She had been proficiently tearing the opposition apart. She used her real name as well, and told them where she had been all day. Clan Fictitious_Roses was being preparedly kind to the community, she was telling them, and was not one they could ever win against if they wanted to rank up. Team play and team chat were two different kinds of community integration interactions. On the website, the game advertised both as a means of ways of playing the game, and it said to choose your playing style. You could PVP, fight monsters, or download data. Downloading meant watching other players fight. This way, even if you were not a fan of playing the game, you could watch the game play on your own terms, in your own time, and with the community support and veteran appraisal it offered. Clan Ficitious_Roses had videos up of conquering other opponents. So did Clan Nocturnal. The clans were all supposed to be really big and you were enticed to join one to even be able to play the game, the community termed, kind of properly, because fending for yourself was really hard to do. You could rank up on your own, but they called it being by your lonesome, and said that was not the fun way they had in mind to play the game. Xi and Mitsuru met up at school. He was not in the facility, and neither was she. They were ditching school. They went to an arcade and played games from Japan, or maybe somewhere like America, they did not recognize where the manufacturer was located. One game said it was from the USA. It was called Street Affairs. They played it and ate McHappyLand's food and drank with the others in the big outside seating area in the nice, warm Chinese district they were in. The Chinese government was successfully allowing the diet to continue. They ate and left after washing their hands and went to Mitsuru's house, and played in her room. Xi got close to her and they played Eve while in her Japanese-style bedroom, which was considered old, and Xi had said smelled awful. He declared the community agreed it was like that, termed just the way it was, as if it was a colloquial agreement that she had to abide by. She had used Febreeze and hoped it smelled better. She hoped he would agree to eat there on that very same night they were hanging out. He did not do so and left before they ate. She was not happy with his decision. She asked if she could eat with him instead. He told her she would be better off at her place. His mom had cooked them a traditional Chinese meal. They ate pig and also vegetables and noodles and Xi said it was not the best smelling optional meal, that was what he said he called it, and was his term for it.
His mother considered it, however, the best thing to do. And they ate happily. His father scolded him for not eating faster. He scooped noodles on to Xi's plate and escaped wiping his plate down before Xi could do the same and escape to his room to play Eve. He had his headset on but his parents found him with the things he was banned from having. They were very angry that and he was disobeying them. He was spanked and left in the closet all for a while. He had to get let out and was taken to the doctor's to get put on a regimen. They decided he had to go to the doctor's, and now he was missing his life in practice, he declared to his parents.
