By the time Harry turned fifteen, Marcus had deemed him ready for his first real mission. They had gathered enough clues to locate the fragment of the Staff of Eden — hidden somewhere deep in the Forbidden Forest.
One cold winter night, under the cover of darkness, Harry and Marcus ventured into the forest, their footsteps silent on the snow-covered ground. They moved with purpose, weaving through the dense trees, guided by an ancient map Harry had discovered in the Potter vault.
"It's close," Marcus whispered as they approached an ancient stone circle, hidden deep within the forest's heart.
Harry could feel the magic in the air, a pulsing energy that made the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end. They approached cautiously, Marcus scanning the area for traps.
Just as they reached the center of the circle, a blinding light erupted from the ground, and the stone pillars around them began to shake. Out of the ground rose a pedestal, and on it lay a shard — glowing with a faint golden light.
"The fragment," Marcus said, awe in his voice.
Harry stepped forward, reaching out to grasp it, but as soon as his fingers touched the shard, the world around him spun violently. He felt a powerful surge of energy shoot through him, and for a brief moment, he saw visions — of battles, of ancient Assassins, of wizards and Muggles clashing for control over reality itself.
And then everything went black
