He didn't say a word until they got into the car .
Bending to her side he pulled the seatbelt over her .
"Thank you for defending me " she mumbled.
"Am sorry but I won't release him " he said.
She sighed.
"He hurt ....".
"I know and your right . It's your company and am your employee. You have every right to protect us both " she said.

"Ah...?"
"What I want to protect ,is you " he muttered.
She blinked not saying a word .
They didn't head to the company but back home . She got out and excused herself to her room, Leoric left soon afterwards.

"Her father is still alive , he remarried and has two children " said Gale.
Leoric was sitting back listening .
"Layla was thrown out a few months after her mother's death . She started living on her own at the age of seventeen". She was smart for all her studies are under sponsorship".
He smiled.
"She met Mia ,her friend during highschool and they have been insperable since ".
"Do you like her ?"asked Leoric.
"Ahh..why would I like someone you have eyes on . She is a beauty but I can't risk my life " Gale answered.
Leoric frowned . "I mean her friend " he said
"Oh...Mia you mean " he laughed .
Leoric nodded.
"I do she is funny and cute " he commented.
"Don't think I didn't read those for they say she had a boyfriend . One she has been together with for a few years " said Leoric.
"I didn't say I was interested in her " Gale muttered.

"Instead of focusing on me why don't we find away to help you win Lalya's broken heart"

"Leoric ,you need to be yourself to win a woman's heart . Dont rush but don't dwell ,move on her pace but show her you care and think about her always . Put her first and don't ever let her doubt your feelings for her " .Gale tapped his shoulder.
"Your mom went back to your father's ,and I expect the maids left for weekend . She is home alone ,I think it's the best time to go back home ". He added.
