Their orders were clear—take her to the training grounds. But none of them had anticipated the sheer force of will and fury that the chained woman before them possessed.
"Step back," one of the guards ordered, his voice trembling slightly despite his best efforts to sound authoritative.
Phoenix's lips curved into a cold smirk, her posture radiating defiance. "Make me," she spat, her voice low and venomous.
