Donovan stood a few feet away, arms crossed over his chest, watching the emotional reunion unfold with a deeply furrowed brow. His elven ears started twitching due to utter confusion, and his lips parted slightly as if he wanted to say something but couldn't quite find the words.

Phoenix pulled away first, glancing at him with a knowing smirk. "You seem confused, Elder Donovan."
Donovan scoffed, gesturing toward the three of them. "Confused? No, no. Confused is when I misplace my favourite goblet. This—this is pure insanity." He pointed at Leonard. "You. You died. I was at your funeral. I grieved you. There was a very expensive tombstone involved, mind you."
Leonard chuckled, stepping toward him. "Miss me, old man?"
