Liora gave them a small smile, her weak form still evident.
"I will not be a burden," she assured them. "
Your brother has helped me, and I will do what I can to repay him."
Dabi looked at his siblings and then turned to Liora. "I'm going to need you to watch over them while I'm gone.
My missions take me away often, and I can't always be here. I trust you to make sure they're safe."
Liora nodded. "You have my word. As long as I am here, I will protect them."
"Good," Dabi said, feeling relieved. "But for now, you need to focus on recovering your mana.
Stay here, rest, and I'll help you with your recovery as much as I can. I'll find some mana stones to speed things up."
Liora looked grateful but still hesitant. She knew it wasn't easy to find the resources needed for her recovery.
But Dabi had already made up his mind.
