However, Shoto, Bakugo, and others knew clearly that Itadori hadn't used his Quirk just now!
Was that just muscle strength?
"As long as I don't come in last, it's fine, right?"
Itadori turned and walked past Aizawa, speaking in a cold tone.
'This guy… doesn't he take the test seriously?' Aizawa thought to himself.
"This, this bastard!" Bakugo was about to grind his teeth to dust.
Although his throwing result seemed to be better than Itadori's, if he didn't use his Quirk, he wasn't even confident if he could throw a distance of 100 meters.
"Itadori…" Midoriya was also shocked.
He had only envied Itadori's strong Quirk initially, but he didn't expect that his pure physical strength would be just as unattainable.
The subsequent tests continued gradually.
In the 50-meter run, the students of Class A began to showcase their abilities: lasers, exhaust pipe engines, gravity control, and more.
"The last group for the 50-meter race, Itadori Muzan and Izuku Midoriya!" The robot at the side of the runway announced.
"Fifty meters?" Itadori looked at the runway and thought, 'I can't use [The World] here.'
Midoriya was nervously pressing his hand to his chest, sweat trickling down his face.
"Three, two, one, start!" The robot shouted.
Midoriya knew he couldn't use his Quirk at will, so he had no choice but to rely on his basic physical abilities and run like an ordinary student.
He thought Itadori, with his impressive Quirk and strength, would leave him far behind.
But to his surprise, he was actually ahead!
Midoriya didn't have time to question Itadori's pace and just kept charging forward.
The onlookers on both sides of the runway were dumbfounded because they saw Itadori strolling towards the finish line leisurely, hands in his pockets as if taking a casual walk.
"Izuku Midoriya, 7.02 seconds!"
After a brief pause, the robot announced, "Itadori Muzan, 22.31 seconds!"
"I knew it would turn out like this…" Momo rubbed her temples in distress.
"Hey! It's hard to be a hero with such a lax attitude! Watch your attitude!" Iida Tenya shouted.
This performance made Izuku and other classmates realize that Itadori hadn't used his quirk during the shot put throw earlier; he had thrown it purely with the strength of his wrist!
"Wow, that's on a monster level." Some murmured.
"What exactly is his Quirk?" Others speculated.
"If I use my Quirk, how powerful could it be?"
Aizawa wrote down the results and glanced meaningfully at Itadori, "As long as you're not last, it's fine? You really haven't changed."
"The next test is the standing long jump!" Aizawa announced.
Some students showcased impressive results: frog-like jumps, belly-button lasers, and one used a whirlwind to launch himself nearly twenty meters.
Midoriya, meanwhile, performed like an ordinary person, jumping just over two meters, leaving others wondering how he passed the entrance exam.
When Itadori took his turn, he leapt casually, covering nearly eight meters.
Students like Shoto and Bakugo understood that, while reckless, Itadori wouldn't end up at the bottom.
Itadori didn't need to use his Quirk at all.
However, he was the only one with that luxury; the other students pushed themselves for the best scores, as their Quirks didn't necessarily apply to every test. They had to excel in areas where they could use their strengths.
"Next, we move to the gymnasium!" Aizawa announced.
The remaining tests were conducted indoors: grip strength, repeated side jumps, and more.
Just when everyone thought Itadori would continue his laid-back approach, he suddenly brought a chair from the side of the gym and sat down.
"What's he doing?" Kaminari Denki looked bewildered.
In the next instant, a powerful figure with bronze skin, golden armor, and nearly two meters in height emerged from Itadori. The overwhelming aura of [The World] made Ochako and Jiro flinch.
"Is that his Quirk?" Fumikage Tokoyam muttered, his eyes widening, "Similar to my 'Shadow'?"
[The World] picked up the handgrip and squeezed it.
Boom!
A loud crack sounded as the handgrip broke.
Aizawa sighed and fetched a larger handgrip, "It's broken; let's get a stronger one."
All eyes were on [The World] as they waited to see how strong his grip would be.
Itadori smirked, deciding to test precision instead of strength. Aizawa, observing, noticed that the numbers on the handgrip rose gradually rather than jumping immediately to maximum, as most students did.
Is he testing his Quirk's precision? Aizawa instantly understood what Itadori was attempting.
Finally, the grip strength stopped at exactly "1111.11KG."
"Wow, so strong! 1111 KG!" Mineta exclaimed.
Shouji's score was a little over 500, which made [The World]'s grip strength more than double of that.
But Shoto, Bakugo, and even Midoriya noticed something odd. How could the number stop exactly at 1111.11KG? It was likely intentional.
"Amazing precision." Aizawa remarked inwardly, knowing Itadori's true strength was undoubtedly more.
In the repeated side jumps, Mineta displayed his Quirk, seemingly silly but possibly extremely useful in certain ways. There's no such thing as a useless Quirk.
Since the grip strength test, Itadori hadn't moved from his chair. All the tests were handled by [The World].
"Where'd he get that juice?" Jiro turned and spotted Itadori lounging in the chair, sipping juice with a straw, fully embracing the incorrect usage of [The World].
"Why didn't he use his Quirk during the standing long jump, 50-meter run and other in activities?" Shoto, Midoriya, and others who were more observant began to wonder why Itadori only started using his Quirk in the gymnasium. While they couldn't be sure yet, a few, including Izuku and Todoroki, decided to keep an eye on him.
The final test was the shot put that Itadori and Bakugo Katsuki had tackled first. Some students, like Momo and Uraraka, scored "Infinite"—Uraraka used her Quirk to make the shot float into the atmosphere, while Momo deployed a drone to carry it away.
Seeing this, Midoriya grew increasingly anxious.
Though he could barely keep up with some of the girls physically, everyone else had achieved at least one remarkable result.
