"W-What happened?"

Midnight and Cementoss, in the referee area, had their eyes wide open.

In the auditorium and on the commentary stand, the 120,000 spectators, Present Mic, and Shota Aizawa, who were looking down from above, could see it clearly.

At this time, Itadori was holding Momo in his arms and walking toward the white boundary line of the arena.

Momo, who was held in the arms of Itadori, was completely stunned. She looked at Itadori in disbelief.

The next second, Itadori let go of Momo.

—She fell on the other side of the white line.

"Momo Yaoyorozu, out of bounds!"

Midnight suddenly reacted, waving the whip in her hand and shouting.

The uproar from the entire stadium resounded throughout the arena once again.

"What happened? This has happened more than once. What on earth just happened?!?"

Present Mic screamed, and his words represented the mood of the entire stadium and the audience in front of their TVs.

Nobody could understand.

Momo looked at her feet in disbelief. The white line between her toes and Itadori's marked out of bounds.

"Are you satisfied?"

Itadori used his right thumb and index finger to gently pinch Momo's chin, lifting her face. The crowd gasped in surprise.

Momo bit her lip, her pretty face clouded with a mix of frustration and embarrassment. Even in front of someone she admired, losing so easily deeply hurt her pride.

Itadori smiled, took Momo's hand, and led her toward the contestants' entrance and exit passage.

"I don't know why, but I always feel like I'm being fed dog food..." Present Mic grumbled under his breath.

Itadori once again demonstrated his ability, making the audience realize the terrifying extent of his Quirk.

He had carried Momo to the edge of the ring without anyone noticing.

This implied he could eliminate a person without anyone even realizing it.

Many heroes with an overflowing sense of justice began to frown. While they marveled at Itadori's strength, they also mentally added him to their watchlists.

When someone's power was too overwhelming, it naturally caused suspicion and wariness.

From Itadori's perspective, such people were truly pathetic.

---

Inside a bar at one of the League of Villains' secret bases, Chisaki Kai sat on a sofa opposite Shigaraki Tomura, watching Itadori and Momo leaving on the screen with a calculating look.

After a long while, he slowly spoke. "It is indeed a very strange ability."

Kurogiri, standing behind the bar in his butler's uniform, interjected, "lord is also very interested in his Quirk and has marked him as a priority target. How long until your research is fully completed?"

Chisaki thought for a moment, then raised two fingers. "Two months."

Shigaraki suddenly placed his crossed legs on the table and shouted, "Don't waste time. I'll give you one month."

Chisaki's expression didn't change. "We're in a cooperative relationship. I'm not your subordinate. And remember, we're the clients here."

"Ah?" Shigaraki's tone dripped with dissatisfaction.

Seeing the atmosphere grow tense, Kurogiri quickly intervened. "Let's compromise. We, the League of Villains, will provide full support for your research, but the timeline must be reduced to one month. We'll meet all your conditions during this period."

Chisaki paused before giving an ambiguous answer. "I'll do my best."

In the audience seats, while everyone was amazed by Itadori's abilities, a very small number of people began to piece together the secret of his Quirk, [The World].

By connecting the dots between the USJ incident and this sports festival, they started to uncover clues. Among them, the most thoughtful was Izuku Midoriya.

---

The sports festival proceeded with the real fierce battles:

Todoroki Shoto vs. Yoarashi Inasa.

Itadori vs. Bakugo Katsuki.

These four from Class A were recognized as the strongest.

The matchup between Todoroki and Yoarashi, both possessing nature-related abilities, naturally became the center of discussion among countless viewers at the scene and in front of their TVs.

However, Izuku Midoriya was still deep in thought, piecing together the mystery of Itadori's Quirk.

He recalled the USJ incident, where the creature known as Nomu had clearly been targeting Itadori. But at a critical moment, the Nomu suddenly turned and attacked its masters, Shigaraki and Kurogiri.

From the situation at the time, it was evident that the Nomu hadn't been controlled. It wanted to attack Itadori but, for some inexplicable reason, shifted its direction completely.

Itadori must have used [The World] to alter the Nomu's actions.

And now, at this sports festival, Itadori had crossed a 400-meter-long minefield in one leap, without triggering any mines.

Even with [The World]'s power, it should have been impossible to jump that far in a single bound...

---

As the cheers for Todoroki and Yoarashi's battle filled the stadium, Izuku sat in the stands, scribbling in his notebook and muttering to himself. Tenya Iida's repeated attempts to bring him back to reality were futile.

Nearby, Momo had returned. Ashido Mina approached her curiously.

"Hey, Momo! Why are you alone? Where's Itadori?"

Momo tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and forced a smile. "He said he skipped lunch earlier and needed to step out for a bit."

"Huh?" Mina's eyes widened. "He's skipping the match?"

Before she could finish, Mina quickly covered her mouth, realizing her words might provoke Bakugo Katsuki. She glanced nervously at him.

Bakugo's eyes were bloodshot, veins bulging on his hands. Yet, he stayed silent, clearly suppressing his anger.

Despite Mina's unfinished statement, it was clear what she'd meant: nobody believed Bakugo could defeat Itadori.

Momo smiled softly. "Itadori said he's already familiar with Todoroki and Yoarashi's fighting styles. There's no need to watch."

"He's really confident..." Mina muttered, turning her attention back to the arena.

The next battle had begun. Present Mic's voice boomed through the speakers:

"We've reached one of the most exciting matches of the U.A. Sports Festival! Two powerhouses of Class A! Todoroki Shoto! Yoarashi Inasa!"
