Omega blinked awake, his eyes adjusting to the light. He found himself seated in a serene chamber filled with soft, ambient light. The Ancient One stood before him, her gaze piercing into his soul as if trying to discern the very essence of his being.
"What the hell did you just do?" she asked, her voice a mixture of concern and incredulity.
Omega swallowed hard, the memories of his encounter with the void rushing back to him like a flood. The way the darkness had embraced him, how it had cocooned him and whispered threats into his mind. He felt the energy coursing through him, a persistent reminder of his connection to that dark realm.
"I... I don't know," he stammered, his heart racing. "I was just trying to understand it."
The Ancient One's expression hardened. "Understanding is not the issue here. That connection you formed is dangerous, Omega. You've touched something ancient and malevolent. I can smell it on you—the energy of the void. It's intertwined with your very soul"
Omega opened his eyes, the world around him coming into focus, and found The Ancient One staring intently into his. Her gaze was sharp, almost piercing, as if she were trying to see into the very depths of his soul.
"What the hell did you just do?" she asked, her voice a blend of concern and authority.
The question hung in the air, heavy with implications. Omega felt the remnants of the void swirling within him, a pulsating reminder of what he had allowed to take place. He could sense the dark energy—coiled tightly around his essence—an inescapable bond that he had never anticipated.
"The connection you formed is dangerous," The Ancient One continued, her tone shifting to one of urgency. "You've merged with a piece of the void itself, and I recognize this energy. It's unlike anything I've encountered before."
Omega swallowed hard, a knot tightening in his stomach. He could feel the weight of her words as she pressed on. "The being that resides in the void is powerful and vengeful. He will come after you for encroaching upon his domain. Most gods do not take kindly to mortals stepping into their territory. By merging with a fragment of his essence, you've threatened his position and authority. He will be relentless in his pursuit of you."
The implications were staggering. Omega's mind raced as he tried to comprehend the depth of what he had done. He had already been struggling to control his own abilities, and now he had inadvertently invited the wrath of something ancient and dangerous into his life.
"Is there a way to sever this connection?" Omega asked, fear creeping into his voice.
The Ancient One shook her head slowly. "Not without consequences. The void is now a part of you, and you cannot simply remove it without risking catastrophic repercussions. Instead, we must seal this dark side away before it can manifest further. It's the only way to keep you safe from the being that will come to reclaim what is his."
Omega hesitated, the weight of her words settling over him like a shroud. He thought about the burden he already carried—the expectations, the responsibilities. Did he really want to take on more? Yet, he couldn't shake the feeling of foreboding that lingered in the air.
"I don't want more responsibility than I already have," he admitted, running a hand through his dark hair. "I'm already having enough of a hard time controlling my abilities. I don't want to add this on top of everything else."
The Ancient One regarded him with understanding, but her expression remained resolute. "I understand your fears, but the threat of the void is real. If we do not act quickly, this being will come to Earth, and he will wreak havoc in search of you. You must trust that sealing this aspect of yourself is for the best."
As her words hung in the air, Omega felt a surge of conflicting emotions—fear, uncertainty, but also a flicker of determination. He didn't want to be a pawn in a game beyond his control. He had fought too hard for his freedom to allow that to happen now.
"Okay," he finally said, his voice steady. "If that's what it takes."
"Now, grab my hands," The Ancient One instructed. Omega nodded and reached out, their fingers interlocking.
As soon as their hands touched, the air around them shimmered with energy. Golden mandala magic circles sprang to life, forming intricate patterns that danced in the space between them. The circles spiraled around them, creating a protective barrier, pulsating with vibrant light. Slowly, they began to shrink, compressing into a brilliant aura that pressed down onto Omega's skin.
The sensation was immediate and overwhelming. It felt as if fire coursed through his veins, searing and relentless. Omega screamed, thrashing against the burning sensation. His eyes turned pitch black, shot through with flashes of electric green lightning that crackled in response to the ritual. The veins beneath his skin darkened, swirling like smoke as the magic pressed deeper into him.
"Stay strong!" The Ancient One commanded, her voice cutting through his panic. "You are stronger than this!"
For a moment, the pain was unbearable, and it felt as if he might be torn apart. Just as the agony reached its peak, a surge of energy pulsed through him, bringing a sudden calm that settled the chaotic storm inside. The magic retreated back into him, and Omega's body fell still.
The Ancient One let go of his hands, stepping back to observe him. She could see the physical toll the sealing had taken, but she knew it was necessary. With a sigh, she murmured, "You have done the unthinkable, boy. For now, I will keep you safe, but later you shall face the consequences of your actions."
With a wave of her hand, she focused her energy inward, diving into the depths of Omega's mind. She had to ensure that the memories of his merging with the void remained buried. As she moved through the labyrinth of his consciousness, she felt his psychic abilities flare to life, erecting shields around his memories. They were juvenile in their construction, fragile and untested, but they instinctively desired to protect.
"Child's play," she whispered to herself, her power effortlessly cutting through his defenses. She reached the core of his memories, weaving her magic to seal away the recollection of the void's influence. She could feel the boy's thoughts stirring, but she pressed on, ensuring the memories were well hidden, locked away for his safety.
When she finally withdrew from his mind, she found him unconscious but peaceful, a stark contrast to the tumult of emotions he had just faced.
"Rest now, Omega," she murmured, touching his forehead. "When you awaken, we will prepare for the challenges ahead. The void may have become a part of you, but I will ensure it remains dormant—for now."

No way she just did that! 😂 Omega should've focused more on mastering his psychic powers instead of focusing on his psionic skills!
