Chapter 5 - GRIEVE

Let me mourn the chances I've missed,

Due to shy silence and uncertain wish.

Low confidence held me back, I confess,

A heavy heart, weighed down by "what if" stress.

"I didn't win" echoes, a haunting refrain,

Regret and longing, a persistent pain.

Life's been harsh, its trials I've faced,

Each failure a reminder, a sorrowful space.

When I grieve, don't offer empty cheer,

Or hollow words that bring no solace near.

If you can't lend a helping hand,

Then let me mourn, in quiet, silent sand.

But if you can, offer words of might,

Help me rise, and shine with new light.

Remind me of strengths I've yet to find,

And guide me toward a brighter mind.

Let me grieve, but not forever stay,

For in healing, I'll find a brighter way.
