"So tell me, what is your name?"
"Lucas. Just Lucas." Lucas responded.

13.7 billion linear years ago.
A plain with empty spaces all around, traces of dead bodies and dead things everywhere lay before two figures in the air, making strange hand movements and warping the air around them.
It wasn't just the air that was warped, the fight had felt like it had ripped apart the blanket of space itself. There were these miniature black holes that formed and crumbled apart almost as soon as they formed, but they somehow transported particles somewhere else, then those same particles reappearing in a completely different manner, in some other space at a random time.
Another figure joined in the duel, the air around them seemed to have changed, then there was the energy released from that change. An enormous explosion occurred, that was directed at the enemy, who turned it into nothingness by summoning a tiny black hole out of nowhere, taking it all in.
That didn't matter though, as the explosion revealed a completely different substance of which the air was created from, and the air itself became metallic.
The two hooded figures that seemed to be on the same team cooperated by using that metal, then making that metal move like a fluid, solidifying and sometimes turning into gas. The mass of metal continued the explosions as black holes continued appearing to take them in.
No matter how many black holes appeared, there always seemed to be more of that metal, and now the metal spontaneously appeared out of thin air, again being controlled by the first person, against the black hole summoner.
Even when fighting a 2v1, the black hole user wasn't disgruntled and made it so that one of their adversaries started to slide apart, seemingly being divided and flattened.
A gruesome scene occurred as this happened, the body that was targeted split apart, revealing lots of blood and organs, that all started to recombine again! This continued reassembly happened so quickly that it was barely observable. The issue was that the body was perpetually splitting apart into multiple pieces, effectively taking out one of fighters for a few seconds, allow the gravity controller to quickly make a mad dash and escape!
"He's gone. Twenty years to trap someone, and it doesn't work." The person who finished reassembling themselves sighed.

"So Lucas, any goals in life?" Sharia asked Lucas who was off the ground, dressed in his rags and walking down the street where fellow rag wearers gave up and lay there, with little cans that said, "Money, please, homeless and dying" and those various messages.
"Getting through one day is hard enough, what could I think about life?" Lucas replied, "Now with this new light I would probably have to think about it, but it would be nice to have a house."
"Why a house?" Sharia questioned as she continued walking, gesturing to the buildings surrounding them, "You live in a world of magic where people can live like kings if they know some of those magic tricks, and you only want a house? Where's the ambition?"
"Think about it, I'll have a house, be able to settle down, play games with people and have fun, something I could have never done out there with nothing, I could even do renting if the house is large." Lucas said with a smile, "Also, you never told me your name lady, what is it?"
"Sharia. Just Sharia and nothing else." Sharia said, trying to imitate Lucas.
"No family?" Lucas questioned, "You seem like a young lady of some household with a bunch of high ranking people."
"Dead. Yours?" Sharia seemed to not care for the life of her family, as she simply smiled while saying that, which doesn't seem right when saying the entire family is dead.
"Dead. Dead to disease." Lucas seemed normal as his neutral facial position drooped, "I don't suppose you know, but it's Red Fever."
"Ahh, Smallpox in Tentia. My favorite, Red Fever." Sharia recounted, "Eh, it's fairly common to die for that, don't feel sad, that would have happened anyways."
"Smallpox?" Lucas was bewildered by the term.
"Look life doesn't last forever, if someone dies, it's no great tragedy, we all die in the end." Sharia continued, "Well, except for really stupid people who permanently curse themselves in the dumbest way possible."
Lucas thought for a moment and said, "So stupid person, could you enlighten me how to do that curse? I think I want to do that instead of the house."
Sharia had a wild expression on her face that made no sense at all. It seemed to be a face of pain, and of extreme accomplishment, "We perfected that system around 13.5 billion linear years ago. Do you know why it's linear years?"
"No, wouldn't time just be time?" Lucas was puzzled, wasn't time just constantly flowing?
Sharia suddenly stopped and laughed, "No! Being the great idiot I was, I found a way to slow down that time by utilizing the splitting of alternate universes and freezing them to be used later. That would automatically happen, and in those universes, the time outside would start freezing, and I have absolutely no idea how long it has been, I have lost track of time, Hehe, I don't know! Heh, If I were to guess I think I surpassed the trillions! Ahahah!" And Sharia keeled over laughing at herself. "I designed that."
"Uh, you don't look a trillion years old." Lucas asked again.
Sharia slowly lifted her head up from the ground, and her eyes began to flash. Scene beyond scene began to play within those eyes at a super speed that completely stunned Lucas. Scenes of entire lifetime achievements, wars, friends, birth, death, and everything conceivably to the human mind continue to play, all the way until the whole universe ended, and then being reborn to a new world.
They both stayed there for less than three seconds, but Lucas had felt more than 3 billion years had passed in those eyes. So much stress was suddenly added to his brain that his sight just broke off and he had a stoke and collapsed onto the ground, this time not keeling over in laughter like Sharia, but keeling over in pain and silence because of Sharia.
"Also forgot the feebleness of the human, good thing I learned some brain surgery." Sharia looked at the poor Lucas and started operating on him with her hands and fingers.
The skull was penetrated with a few fingers, wiped and cleaned by that peculiar ability, and there was some very careful nudging where the mysterious ability did not turn on, and Sharia's fingers began to exhibit a state where it simply passed through the barrier of the brain mass.
Eventually, Sharia found the bleeding vessel and casted the all powerful healing spell that couldn't be directly cast on the person if they had brain damage because it would forcibly connect synapses between the brain cells, causing the patient to become a complete vegetable.
By first locating the problem, a much more precise healing spell that Sharia modified, naming it, "Precise Healing Spell" because she ran out of creativity was used. The vessel sealed itself, the blood that seeped into the brain just dissipated and Sharia retracted her fingers from inside the brain, and an entirely new skull had grown. Sharia didn't have to remove the skull preliminarily, but she liked to look at something so complex as the brain.
To wake Lucas up, Sharia decided to slap him in the face multiple times, and when that didn't work, she carried Lucas like a sack of potatoes and slung him over her right shoulder. There of course were onlookers that still watched the surgery being performed and the acts of two people on the ground, one silent and one laughing, but as soon as Sharia turned around a stared all of them down, deciding why not to share what she shared with Lucas, the onlookers all experienced their 3 billion years of excitement and had a stroke on the spot.
Sharia walked down the street, completely disregarding the crowd dying on the street.
She walked towards the ocean part of this harbor city, and when she reached it, she dumped Lucas into the ocean. He still didn't wake up.
"Why the heck do people take so long to recover from strokes? I already fixed him up and there wasn't even any anesthesia." Sharia was severely annoyed with Lucas's unconscious ability to become conscious. "Can't teach him magic if he isn't paying attention."
Sharia had decided that she would do the teacher route, but more like a private teacher that taught incapable, half broken people like Lucas who had no idea what they wanted in life.
To pass the time, Sharia decided to build sand castles on the beach. There was no actually directly touching the sand, but hand movements that had the sand move itself into an intricate shape. It was a tower with little engravings of names on them, names that Sharia took over.
There were also adventures titled on each tiny brick, and the names of fragments of Sharia split into, which were all named, "Sharia, Sharia, Sharia, Sharia, Sharia..." Just those bricks took over too many to count.

Lucas woke up to a sand castle the width of his body and the length of his height multiplied by two, with an impossibly tall body. The castle had gone above the clouds and surpassed the horizon. It was simply too high to even see the top. The beach surrounding it was gone!, completely gone! Sand was being taken out of the water and floating to the top!
"Finally!" Sharia exclaimed as the giant tower collapsed back into the beach and into the ocean.
