As the sun rose, and the rays of sunshine gazed upon the three. It traced their features and disturbed their eyes from the rays. The freezing room from last night soon became hotter and the people sleeping soundly became wet with sweat.
A minute passes by and the hour hand steadily pointed to seventh. As the clock hits exactly at 7 o clock, the same icy voice sounded throughout the dorms and the three who were sleeping soundly was suddenly awaken.

They were still groggy from such a deep sleep and Mu Wei woke up from a penetrating headache. 'My head hurts like hell, it's even worse than waking up after drinking tons of bottles of beer.'
He rubbed his head in a circulate motion to try and ease it. It was a strange occurrence, due to his stats it's almost near impossible for him to have such a piercing headache. Although perhaps it would be from his dream last night.
Lu Yi, who was still rubbing his eyes, got up and looked at the time. "It looks like we still have 50 minutes to get ready."
He turned to look at Mu Wei at the bottom bunk and asked worriedly, "You don't look too good, Mu Wei. Is everything okay? You look like you've just gotten out from an exercise."
Mu Wei saw his concern and replied in an affirmative tone, "Yeah, don't worry about it. Shall we get ready now?"
Lu Yi was comforted by his response and the two got up and glanced at the top bunk. "Strange, is Min-Ji still sleeping?" Lu Yi asked curiously while scratching his head, "I'm sure we slept relatively early last night."
The two shared a look for a moment before they climbed the small ladder connecting the bottom and top bunk to see if Min-Ji has already woken up. As they headed up the ladder, they were stupefied for a moment, there was no sight of Min-Ji anywhere!
"Huh? Where's Min-Ji? Did she already leave before us?" Lu Yi said with a tinge of sadness in it. He looked pretty down at the thought of Min-Ji not bothering to wake them up but tried not to show it too much. Although, it was a futile attempt. Mu Wei was an actor; emotions are practically child's play for him.
Mu Wei didn't believe that she would do that. She didn't seem like the type. "There's no need to worry. Perhaps she left to take a shower." He glanced at the bag left by Min-Ji on the desk and pointed, "Look, if she had gone before us, why would she leave her bag her?" He said in a reassuring tone.
Normally, he wouldn't bother even comforting people but since he's staying here for a while it wouldn't be a problem to create a few friends, right? Besides, Mu Wei had a feeling that these two would be people he can trust in the future. Surely, they wouldn't betray him or anything.
Lu Yi nodded at this and for time's sake, decided not to dwell on this matter for too long. "Right, we should get ready now, we wasted a few minutes talking about this. Mu Wei, why don't you take a shower first? I'll organize our things first."
The white-haired man nodded at this and quickly went outside to look for the men's shower rooms. He carried his bathrobe with him and walked around mindlessly. After a few minutes of walking, he came across a digital map of the building. Mu Wei took a look at it and silently made a note of the rooms.
'Wow, Beiyin really does deserve its spot as one of the best guilds.' Although Beiyin guild was mentioned a few times throughout the novel, he never would've expected that their facilities would be much grander than it was originally described as.
He searched for the men's shower rooms and quickly found out that it was at the end of the hallway he was walking through and to the left of it. He paused for a moment and looked at his clothes. 'Shit. I forgot to change last night. This smell of sweat mixed with all the germs from the waiting room is making me puke.'
Mu Wei was a germaphobe. He was obsessed with cleanliness and was known for this during his previous life too. Throughout his acting career, despite having passion about it. He would often try to avoid scripts with characters that would interfere with his cleanliness.
Despite being transmigrated here, his habits hadn't changed at all. He still found himself averse to anything that went against his obsession with cleanliness, even if the world around him was vastly different from what he had once known. In fact, the more he thought about it, the stranger it felt. He didn't expect to carry over such habits—especially considering how unpredictable this new world seemed. It seemed like he didn't change that much at all despite his regressions.
With a sigh, Mu Wei tightened his grip on his bathrobe and hurried down the hallway toward the shower rooms. As he took a left, he was momentarily surprised at how big the space was.
Considering how their rooms seemed like college dorms, he expected the shower rooms to be smaller and only had 2 or 3 stalls available. However, these "stalls" couldn't even be considered as one. It was more like rooms from how wide they were. More importantly, they didn't have to line up!
Entering one of the rooms available, he was relieved to find the space pristine. The marble tiles shone under the lights, and the scent of mild disinfectant lingered in the air, calming his nerves a bit.
He set his robe on a hook, stepping into the stall, and let the warm water wash away the grime and fatigue from his restless night. As he closed his eyes, the water droplets dripped down his face, memories of last night's strange dream resurfaced—though most of it was fragmented, like pieces of a puzzle that refused to fit together. It was vague.
In his dream, he was back on a movie set, surrounded by familiar faces, but there was something off. The set had been twisted, as though the walls were closing in, and his friends' faces had morphed into shadowed figures. They spoke in riddles, their voices echoing in ways that felt both distant and uncomfortably close. Just before he woke, he'd seen Min-Ji's face among them, her expression a mixture of fear and… betrayal?
A chill ran down his spine despite the warm water, and he shook his head to clear the unsettling images. "It's just a dream," he muttered to himself, trying to dismiss it. "Probably just nerves or this whole… transmigration thing."
After finishing up, he grabbed at the clothes prepared for the F-ranks and dressed quickly, eager to put his thoughts to rest and join Lu Yi back at the dorm. It was a relatively common design, with a white collared shirt and some black slacks. Although it felt much more elegant when he put it on compared to most people. Perhaps it's because of the aura he excludes and mainly due to his looks.
He took one last look in the mirror, straightened his collar, and reminded himself to stay focused. If he was going to survive and find a way to make sense of this world, he'd need to keep his mind clear—and his allies close.
When he returned, Lu Yi was already packed up and waiting. "Finally, you're back! The cafeteria should be open now, so let's head down before the line gets long," Lu Yi said, flashing a grin that was enthusiastic.
"Has Min-Ji come back yet?" Mu Wei asked curiously. Where was she? It was strange enough that she didn't wake them up this morning, but it became stranger when she didn't return at all.
Lu Yi looked dejected at this question and gave a faint smile, "No... But maybe she already went ahead and saved us a spot!" He tried to cheer both of them up and shook off his dejected look with a bright smile.
"Right, perhaps Min-Ji already went ahead." Mu Wei noticed this and didn't bother any further.
As they walked toward the cafeteria, Mu Wei caught a glimpse of Min-Ji up ahead, blending into the crowd of other students, her gaze distant. He called out to her, but she didn't seem to hear. For a split second, she turned and met his eyes, and he could've sworn she looked… like all her life was devoid. She didn't show any emotions at all and looked like a doll being controlled.
Before he could question it, she vanished into the crowd, leaving Mu Wei with an inexplicable sense of foreboding. Why does it seem like something terrible is about to happen?
