POV: Jenna
Jenna stared at the hulking mutant that had just burst into the clearing. It was massive, towering over even the largest mutants they'd encountered so far, its glowing veins pulsating like neon signs.
"Okay," Jenna muttered, gripping her crowbar tightly. "This feels personal."
Carl stepped in front of her, his sword at the ready. "Stay back."
"You keep saying that," Jenna replied, rolling her eyes. "And yet, here I am, still in one piece."
Carl didn't respond. His focus was locked on the creature as it let out a guttural roar, the sound vibrating through the air like a thunderclap.
"Everyone, focus on its legs!" Rick shouted, his voice cutting through the chaos. "We need to bring it down!"
Jenna glanced at her zombie gang, who were growling nervously behind her. "Alright, team," she said, clapping her hands. "You heard the boss. Let's go for the knees!"
One of her zombies groaned, tilting its head in confusion.
"Just… attack the big glowing thing, okay?" Jenna clarified, motioning toward the mutant.

POV: Rick
Rick moved quickly, coordinating the group as they launched their attack. Carl darted forward, his sword slicing into one of the mutant's legs. Sarah followed suit, her knife flashing as she aimed for the creature's glowing veins.
"Keep it distracted!" Rick shouted, driving his blade into the creature's side. The mutant roared in pain, swiping at them with its massive claws.
"We're not doing enough damage!" Sarah yelled, dodging a swing. "This thing's a tank!"
Rick cursed under his breath. She was right. The creature's size and resilience were overwhelming, and their attacks were barely slowing it down.
---
POV: Jenna
Jenna watched as the group struggled to bring the mutant down. Her zombie gang was doing their best, but their clumsy attacks weren't making much of a dent.
"This isn't working," Jenna muttered, her mind racing. "We need a new plan."
Her gaze landed on the mutant's back, where a cluster of glowing veins pulsed like a heartbeat. A mischievous grin spread across her face. "That looks important."
Before she could talk herself out of it, Jenna sprinted toward the mutant, her crowbar raised. Carl noticed her movement and shouted after her.
"Jenna, no!"
Jenna ignored him, dodging the mutant's swipes as she made her way toward its back. She jumped onto its leg, climbing with surprising agility as the creature thrashed in an attempt to shake her off.
---
POV: Carl
Carl's heart sank as he watched Jenna scale the mutant like it was some kind of amusement park attraction. "She's going to get herself killed," he muttered, moving to intercept the creature's next attack.
"Focus on the legs!" Rick barked, his voice sharp. "We need to bring it down before it gets her!"
Carl gritted his teeth, his sword slashing into the mutant's knee. The creature roared, its movements growing more erratic as it tried to fend off both the attackers on the ground and Jenna on its back.
---
POV: Jenna
Jenna clung to the mutant's back, her crowbar wedged into one of its glowing veins. The creature bucked and thrashed, nearly throwing her off.
"Okay," she muttered, tightening her grip. "Let's see how you like this."
With a grunt of effort, she yanked the crowbar free and drove it into another vein, causing the mutant to let out a deafening roar. The glowing light in its veins flickered, dimming slightly.
"Yes!" Jenna shouted, a mix of triumph and adrenaline. "Take that, you oversized glow stick!"
---
POV: Rick
Rick watched as Jenna continued her assault on the mutant's back, her reckless determination actually making a difference. The creature's movements were slowing, its glowing veins dimming with each strike.
"She's actually doing it," Sarah muttered, a mix of disbelief and admiration in her voice.
"Focus!" Rick snapped, his knife driving into the mutant's leg. "We're not out of this yet."
The group redoubled their efforts, their attacks growing more coordinated as they worked to bring the creature down.
---
POV: Kane
From his vantage point, Kane observed the battle with a calm expression. Jenna's antics were as unpredictable as ever, and yet, they were proving effective.
"She's a wild card," Theo said, his tone grudgingly impressed. "She might actually win this."
Kane's smile didn't waver. "Perhaps. But wild cards are also volatile. Let's see how far she can push her luck."

POV: Jenna
With one final, desperate swing, Jenna drove her crowbar into the mutant's neck, hitting a cluster of glowing veins. The creature let out a final, agonized roar before collapsing to the ground, its body going limp.
Jenna rolled off its back, landing in a heap on the ground. "Ow," she muttered, wincing as she sat up. "Totally worth it."
Carl was at her side in an instant, his expression a mix of relief and frustration. "Are you insane?"
"Probably," Jenna replied, grinning up at him. "But it worked, didn't it?"
Carl sighed, offering her a hand. "You're impossible."
"And fabulous," Jenna added, letting him pull her to her feet.
Rick approached, his knife still in hand. "Good work, everyone. But we're not done yet. Gather what you can and get ready to move. This place won't stay safe for long."
Jenna groaned. "Can't we just enjoy the victory for five minutes?"
Rick shot her a look. "No."
