Chapter 110 - Alpha’s Wrath

POV: Jenna

The massive wolf emerged from the treeline, its glowing veins pulsating with a sickly green light that made Jenna's stomach churn. It was larger than any creature she'd seen so far, its eyes filled with a terrifying mix of intelligence and primal rage.

"Oh, come on," Jenna groaned, gripping her crowbar tighter. "Did we really need a boss fight?"

Carl stepped in front of her, sword at the ready. "Stay back, Jenna."

Jenna huffed. "I'm getting really tired of people telling me to stay back."

"Then stop getting into situations you can't handle," Carl shot back, his focus locked on the approaching alpha wolf.

The creature let out a deep, rumbling growl that seemed to shake the very ground beneath them. Jenna's zombie gang growled back, their glowing eyes fixed on the wolf as if daring it to make the first move.

"Okay, team," Jenna whispered to her gang. "This is your moment. Go be terrifying."

Her zombies shuffled forward, their groans turning into guttural snarls as they surrounded the massive wolf. Jenna held her breath, watching as her gang lunged at the creature in unison.

POV: Carl

Carl seized the opportunity as Jenna's zombies swarmed the alpha wolf, their relentless attacks forcing it to focus on them. He darted in, his sword slicing through the air as he aimed for the creature's pulsating veins.

The wolf was fast—too fast. It turned on him in an instant, its massive paw swiping at his midsection. Carl barely managed to dodge, rolling to the side and coming up with his sword at the ready.

"Rick, now!" Carl shouted.

Rick and Sarah moved in, their weapons striking at the wolf's legs. The creature roared in fury, lashing out with its claws and teeth, but the group managed to keep it off balance.

"This thing's tougher than the others!" Rick yelled, driving his knife into one of the wolf's glowing veins. The wound leaked green blood, but the creature barely flinched.

"Then we just hit harder," Carl growled, lunging at the wolf again.

---

POV: Jenna

Jenna stayed on the sidelines, her crowbar clutched tightly in her hands as she watched the fight unfold. Her gang was doing surprisingly well, their combined efforts keeping the alpha wolf distracted enough for Carl and Rick to land a few hits.

But it wasn't enough. The wolf was too strong, too fast. Every time they seemed to gain the upper hand, it adapted, its movements becoming more unpredictable.

"We're gonna need a bigger plan," Jenna muttered to herself.

One of her zombies let out a high-pitched growl, catching her attention. She glanced down to see it pointing toward the alpha wolf's chest, where the veins glowed brightest.

Jenna's eyes widened. "Oh. Oh! Good idea, buddy!"

Without thinking, she sprinted toward the creature, dodging debris and flying limbs as she closed the distance. "Carl! Rick! Aim for the chest! That's its weak spot!"

---

POV: Rick

Rick's head snapped toward Jenna as she charged into the fray, her crowbar raised high. "Jenna, no!"

But she didn't stop. Jenna darted past him, her zombie gang following closely behind. She swung her crowbar with all her might, landing a solid hit on the wolf's chest. The glowing veins dimmed slightly, and the creature howled in pain.

Rick cursed under his breath, moving to cover her as the wolf lashed out. "You're insane, you know that?"

"Thank you!" Jenna replied, dodging another swipe.

---

POV: Carl

Carl took advantage of the wolf's momentary distraction, his sword slicing through one of its glowing veins. The creature staggered, its massive body swaying as it tried to regain its footing.

"Keep hitting it!" Carl shouted, driving his sword into the wolf's side.

Jenna's zombies swarmed the creature again, their claws and teeth tearing at its flesh. Carl couldn't believe it—they were actually making progress.

"Almost there!" he yelled, his adrenaline pumping as he aimed for the wolf's chest.

---

POV: Jenna

Jenna swung her crowbar again, landing another hit on the wolf's chest. The creature let out a deafening roar, its glowing veins flickering like dying embers.

"This is it!" Jenna shouted. "Go for the glow!"

Her gang responded with a chorus of groans, their attacks becoming more frenzied. Carl and Rick struck in unison, their weapons plunging into the wolf's chest. The creature reared back, its body convulsing as green light burst from its wounds.

And then, with one final, bone-rattling roar, the alpha wolf collapsed, its massive body hitting the ground with a thud that shook the earth.

Jenna let out a shaky breath, her crowbar slipping from her hands. "Well," she said, her voice trembling. "That was horrifying."

Carl wiped green blood off his sword, his breathing heavy. "You did good, Jenna."

Jenna grinned. "I know. I'm amazing."

---

POV: Kane

Kane watched from the shadows, his expression calm as ever. The group had won, but it was clear the battle had taken its toll. They were exhausted, vulnerable.

And yet, Kane couldn't help but feel intrigued. Jenna's unpredictable nature had turned the tide, her chaotic energy proving to be a strength rather than a weakness.

"Interesting," Kane murmured, a faint smile tugging at his lips. "Very interesting."
