Xavier's breath hitched as he looked up into the girl's sparkling eyes, which held a mixture of admiration and something more intense—a spark that made the hair on the back of his neck stand on end. She was petite but curvaceous, her soft curls framing a flushed, feverish face. The tight pink dress hugged her figure, doing little to hide the fullness of her chest as she pressed herself close to him, her gaze unwavering, filled with adoration—and something a touch darker.
"H-husband…?" he stammered, barely able to process the word.
"Yes!" she beamed, leaning in, tightening her grip around him. "I've been waiting for this moment, counting down the days until I could finally see you in person."
Xavier managed to sit up, gently prying her arms off enough to scoot back, pressing against the wall. His mind was spinning. How had she found him? And *who* was she?
"Look, I… I think there's some kind of misunderstanding," he said, trying to keep his voice steady. "I'm not married. I don't even know you…"
Her expression faltered for a second before she giggled, covering her mouth with a delicate hand. "Oh, silly! You don't know me, but I know *you,*" she cooed, her voice sweet but with an undercurrent of something that made him shiver. "I've been following your work for so long, and… I just couldn't wait anymore."
Xavier's throat went dry, his laugh hollow. "Oh, so you're a fan! That's… that's great." He inched toward the door, hoping to slip out without escalating things. "I, uh, really appreciate the support, but I think you should—"
She closed the gap instantly, her ample chest brushing against him as her hands came up to cradle his face, her touch gentle but firm. "Don't you remember my username?" she asked, her eyes lighting up with a dangerous glint. "*Yandere_King.* That's me."
His stomach dropped as he felt the blood drain from his face. "I—oh."
She giggled, clasping her hands together, her chest rising with a deep, excited breath. "I know I'm not what you expected, but… isn't it better this way? Now you don't have to be alone anymore." Her eyes softened, tilting her head as if studying him with pity. "I've read everything you've posted, even the little notes in your drafts. I know you better than anyone else in the world."
Xavier forced a shaky smile, feeling his pulse hammering. "Look, uh… thanks. Really, I'm flattered, but you shouldn't be here. This is my home, and it's… private."
Her smile faded, a shadow passing over her eyes. She pursed her lips, fingers twisting together. "But… I thought you'd be happy. I thought… you wanted this." Her tone softened, yet there was a hint of something darker beneath the sweetness. "You do want this, don't you, Xavier?"
He swallowed hard, feeling trapped under her gaze. If he could just get his phone, maybe call for help—
She sensed his thought, reaching out and gripping his wrist with surprising strength. Her voice dropped to a low, pleading whisper. "Don't run away. Please don't ruin this… We belong together."
A soft brush against his leg broke the moment. Jaffar, his cat, trotted up, looking at the girl with an unimpressed expression before rubbing against Xavier's ankle.
The girl's grip loosened, and she bent down to pet the cat, her fingers tracing over Jaffar's fur with surprising gentleness. "So, this is Jaffar…" she murmured, her eyes dreamy. "Just like you described in your blog. It's so perfect."
Xavier took a shaky breath, his mind calculating his next move. "Yeah… he's, uh, great," he murmured, inching his hand toward his pocket where his phone was stashed.
But she noticed, her gaze snapping back, her eyes narrowing. "Are you trying to leave me already?" she whispered, voice trembling with an edge of hurt that sounded eerily genuine. "After I came all this way just to see you?"
"N-no, of course not," he stammered, trying to ease the tension. "I'm just… overwhelmed. You know, this is all… new."
She studied him for a moment, her expression unreadable, before breaking into another unsettlingly sweet smile. She let out a soft giggle, tucking a stray curl behind her ear. "Oh, I understand. Take all the time you need… because I'm not going anywhere."
The finality in her words sent a shiver down his spine, a growing dread settling over him as he realized how trapped he was. Her unwavering gaze, the possessive touch, the sheer force of her presence made him feel like he was suffocating.
She spoke again, her tone casual, as if they were sharing coffee. "You know, I've been planning this for so long." She smiled, her eyes distant, as though seeing something he couldn't. "Every post, every little glimpse you gave me into your life… I've been there, living it all by your side. You wouldn't know, of course, but I made sure no one else could get close to you."
Xavier's eyes widened, a prickling unease creeping over him. "W-what do you mean by that?"
She laughed, a light, airy sound that somehow sent chills down his spine. "Oh, it's nothing. Just that… there are people out there who don't appreciate you the way I do." Her eyes narrowed with a possessive glint. "I had to make sure they understood you're *mine.* You wouldn't believe how many messages I had to send, how many profiles I had to… adjust. All so no one else would bother you."
He felt a chill crawl up his spine. He hadn't noticed anything unusual before, but now, thinking back, certain fans had dropped off, others stopped commenting.
'Had she been… interfering?'
"I know it sounds extreme, but I did it for us," she continued, leaning in close, her chest brushing against him again as she gazed up with a disturbing adoration. "You're all I need, Xavier. And I'm all you need too. You don't have to be afraid."
He swallowed, feeling trapped under her intense gaze. He didn't dare move, didn't dare reach for his phone now that he knew how deeply she'd been watching, waiting, planning.
"W-well, I'm sure that's not… necessary," he stammered, his voice strained. "I mean, I appreciate you looking out for me, but I can handle things on my own."
Her smile widened, and she reached up to touch his cheek. "But you don't have to handle things alone anymore. I'm here now. And I'll make sure no one ever gets in the way of us again."
The words lingered in the air, heavy and foreboding. As Xavier sat there, mind racing for some way to escape, he felt the realization sink in: he was in over his head, and this girl wasn't going to let him go.
