Over the years, I've completed maybe ten quests, no more. The rewards were so-so. Although, it still allowed me to get the DNA Expansion and accumulate a decent amount of capital by the start of the main story. In fact, I could have already bought one quirk, but I needed a more expensive one, so I stuck to the plan.
There weren't many quests left, one was weird, one was about a quirk, and one was related to the hero academy...
[Aspiring hero.
Completion condition: pass the entrance exam to UA.
The reward will depend on the exam result. First place - x3 increase, second x2, third x1.
Standard Reward: 10,000 System Points. Will x1]
This is the task I was counting on, and I completed it today! That's why I was aiming for first place. As soon as I take the reward, I'll have as many as 60k points, and with them I can get a pretty valuable and useful quirk.
Next...
[The pursuit of power.
Completion condition: obtain a second quirk.
Reward: 10,000 System Points]
I could have done it earlier, but the cost and reward were not consistent. I think I'll figure it out today and if I buy the quirk for 50k, I'll even have enough for a second DNA Expansion. Pretty good.
But that same "strange" task...
[It's a family matter.
Condition for completion: Mitsuki Bakugo must "become yours."
Reward: 30,000 System Points. Durability Upgrades x1]
I guess there is no need to explain this...
I got this assignment at about thirteen years old, when my hormones started to go crazy... The second time in my life. (Or lives?)
I wouldn't say I was against it, since Mitsuki was hot as hell and I'd been eyeing her a lot lately. However, I'd lived with her for many years, and it seemed a little strange to me. At the same time, I knew her character better than most, and I understood that this was a matter of beating the League of Villains with your eyes closed. Without a trump card, it was almost impossible.
It's one thing to hit on a classmate, but hitting on your own mother...
Although, considering the reward, it was even more tempting. However, I would have tried even without it. You can't train your whole life? You also need to rest! Who else but women can brighten up the life of a lonely time traveler? Heh...
Besides, my gorgeous mommy was so lonely... What kind of son am I if I don't give her a little warmth?
If only I could save up for the right quirk... With it, everything would go like clockwork. At least, I think so. The villain using it could emit pheromones that attracted women, and all his bodily fluids would turn into that very Aphrodisiac. It is possible to resist, but it is very difficult. Of course, it is not hypnosis, but if you gradually influence the target, you can achieve success. After all, even with quirks, people still have not gotten rid of animal instincts.
Besides, this quirk would probably come in handy in other similar quests. Women could bring me not only pleasure, but also tangible benefits in developing my strength. So this is one of the important paths I needed to take. Today at the Academy I received several such quests, so it is already obvious that this is not just an isolated case. I will have to take this quirk sooner or later, because without it, development will drag on for a long time.
Sure, it's a kind of cheating, but who cares? It's not for a time traveler with a system to raise this issue.
If it weren't for Uraraka and the others, but only Mitsuki, I definitely wouldn't waste my points. But now everything has changed, as have my plans for the future...
After all, earlier, oddly enough, I had a quirk in mind...
The quirk that excited me was actually quite simple - Mind Control. I wanted to take it in case of unforeseen circumstances. Also, the plan was to combine it with Giran's quirk - Turbidity. The combination, in my opinion, is ideal, and all because by taking control of the enemy, I can quickly defeat him, then inflict Amnesia on him. If Shinso had such an opportunity, in any one-on-one battle, not only would he emerge victorious, but his quirk would never be revealed.
If you add Smoke Screen to the quirk, it will be a real imba. Because in this case you will be able to create fog, catch enemies and win. Of course, you can't forget about changing your voice.
I could replace the smoke screen with special grenades or my own explosions, and the voice-changing device wasn't that hard to find. I'll get all this and in five minutes I'll be able to do anything to people, even to allies, and they won't even remember.
But, if I don't show off too much, then in reality Mind Control won't be useful to me anytime soon, and with Turbidity the price is several times higher, plus DNA Expansion...
Besides, there were many different "buts", like: five minutes? How strong will the control be?
The most important thing is that this "bundle" was too expensive...
Of course, I understand that focusing on enhancing quirks was also reasonable, but considering that I am a time traveler, and one who initially possesses a quite decent quirk that allows me to defeat many, was it worth it? Many enhancing quirks were not cheap.
I used to think that system points would become a problem and it would be more logical for me to save up for the most necessary and ideal quirks for the future war, but not now... Probably, it is worth putting off all sorts of "combinations" and "links" until better times.
Actually, I had many of them in mind, for example: voice and animal control. Or the same combinations of Gigantomachia's quirks.
But how will this work in practice, especially now?
In general, now I was full of doubts. On the one hand, I could save up for the perfect combination, on the other, I could take Aphrodisiac and take a risk, but there was a chance that the initially undeveloped quirk might not be that strong, since it was not in the canon and I was judging only by newspaper clippings and the meager instructions from the system.
But still, if everything goes as it should... If the system gains more points...
In the current reality, Aphrodisiac has a better chance of showing itself and being useful. Otherwise, I could rely on Blast Wave.
Well... With the many tasks today, I simply couldn't ignore this path of development.
That's why...
Let's get started!
