Chereads / Falling For My Stepbrother 1 / Chapter 68 - Chapter 68

Chapter 68 - Chapter 68

Jessica's POV

I got home that night, after meeting with Lily and Gray.

Lily had served him the biggest revelation of his life.

She was gonna have a baby with Chase, and he made her abort it at two months old, over ten months ago.

Only three of us, Chase, Lily and I knew about it.

I felt poorly for ever aiding that, but Chase was my friend, my childhood friend. . That was the beginning of Lily's depression.

We also had to bully her to make sure she didn't report to the authorities.

I don't know how Chase further did it, but her lips were sealed, except now.

I didn't know what she had coming, but I knew she was going through a lot, and that could account for the way she acted.

Gray called me when he got back home that night.

"Hey, sorry if I cut your sleep short," He started.

"Come on, you know I don't sleep that late." I said, I didn't like how he was being so formal because of what just happened. "You know, I still like to visit my toys." I teased him.

"Well those are better than any of us." He said in an undertone. Gray had liked Lily since forever. Barely anyone knew, I kinda did. He'd been looking at her someway since middle school. Chase just got to her first, and ruined her.

"Don't be like that." I chided. "Lily will be fine, I'm gonna make sure of that."

"Do you promise?" He asked, his voice was low and cracking. Gray was too emotional.

"I do. Now what is it you wanted to say?" I asked him.

"I've gotten in contact with Kevin's sister, Kayla." He started. That was good news for everyone. "She used to fancy Emma herself, but with what mess Emma made of her brother at their school, she's considering helping us out."

"The sound of her name sickens me. Helping us with what exactly?" I fancied bringing Kevin into the mix, cause Emma would need a shoulder to cry on when we were done, and it wasn't gonna be Chase, cause Chase would not be there, matter of fact, she'd hate him.

"With Emma's pictures that leaked." Gray divulged. He nearly choked on himself. I knew it was still very new to him, all this life of payback and blackmailing, scandal and stuff, but it was a game I had been taught to play, only too well. I needed it in the industry, it was how I got so many gigs either way, and it was proving to be my downfall too.

"You sound like you're gonna fall dead any minute now." I said.

"It's not something I love to do." Gray replied curtly

"You don't have to." I said, saving him. "I'll handle it. Give me her number." I said.

"I'll send it ASAP." He obliged. "I'll do anything to make Lily feel a bit better. I never knew she had been through so much. Please tell me you'll stay by my side." He begged.

I didn't like to see Gray like that.

Even though it was over the phone, it was easy to imagine what a mess he'd look like.

"I promise. Please stop crying. You're making me teary." I replied.

He thanked me, there was silence but he didn't cut the call.

 "You lonely?" I asked.

"Not when you put it like that. I wish I could concentrate on something else, more like…" He replied, after a long pause.

"Why can you?" I said, teasing him.

"Cause, Jessica, everything I ever believed was a lie!" He screamed.

I was grateful to not have been too close to him when he said it. I heard something crash after which he swore under his breath.

 "Better now?" I asked.

 "Slightly." He offered, reluctantly.

 "Can I help?" I asked.

My question was followed by such strained silence, I wish I never asked, better still, I wish I could erase it.

 "Yes, please." He croaked.

I felt bad for Lily, but I was equally as horny.

"Put your camera on." Gray said. . I did, and for a second, we met each other's eyes, but soon turned away, before logic and common sense eroded our mutual yearning.

"What do you want to see?" I asked Gray, stripping my clothes off as seductively as I could.

"You, Lily, all of you." He said.

"Uhm." I wanted to correct him, tell him I was Jessica, but I could see that his heart, all of his in fact, was still stuck on Lily.

"Please go faster." He prodded. Gray had started beating his meat.

I took out a few of the larger sized ones, and lubricated myself with something Monica got for me two months ago on my birthday.

No sooner was the toy in, than Gray started to make grunt noises.

He was going at it so fast and so loud that I felt he might be venting all his pent up anger for Chase on himself.

"Better now?" I asked, when we both orgasmed.

"Kinda." He relied, curtly, avoiding the camera. "I'll see you tomorrow." Gray said and cut the call on me.

I, shamefully, threw the doll penis in my hand away, crashing it in my pink and silver themed bedroom wall. My life was miserable, and the best I could make out of it was dragging others down with me.

"Hey, Kayla." I texted her. Gray had shared her contact immediately and followed it with a 'Goodnight.'

Kayla was online, and as such, replied to me immediately.

 "Who's this?" She asked.

"Jessica. Gray must've forgotten to mention." I texted back, making excuses for Gray.

He probably didn't want to involve himself.

"Oh. Kevin said something about that." She replied.

I was expecting her to say something else, but Gray told me that she was a former friend to Emma, while she didn't fancy her anymore, it was not strange that she'd be reluctant to help.

"I need your help." I said.

 "With what?" She replied.

"Do I get to explain it all over again or they've spared me that trouble?" I asked her. I needed to be sure we were on the same page.

"Kevin said something." She replied. "Although I'm not one to involve outsiders in my family's business." She added.

The girl was proving too sassy for me, so I ended the chat.

Lily and I had enough to start with, and that was gonna suffice.

"Hey babe." I called Lily next, I needed to know how she was doing.

"I didn't think you'd call." Lily sounded cold.

"Why wouldn't I?" I replied, trying to think of a reason for her sudden chilly attitude towards me.

"Nothing, really. Forgive me, it's all messing with my head. Got what we want?" She asked me.

"Not really. We'd work with what we have. It should be sufficient." I said.

"Alright, we strike tomorrow." She replied. "I just wanna confirm you're cool with knTzujkowing that it might implicate you?" She asked me.

"It's rather the opposite, my dear. If I appeared in at least one of those, I wouldn't be a suspect, would I?" Lily underestimated me.

 "Smart, then." She said,

"Have a wonderful night, Princess." I said, adding all the necessary effects.

"During the principal's address, right?" She asked, confirming our agreed time.

"Yeah." I replied. "And you still have that connection in the ICT office?" I asked her.

"I do." She said and cleared her throat rather suspiciously.
