Just as Aria pulled out her phone to call her friends, a notification lit up her screen. It was an unexpected message from Springwood Academy:
*"Sorry for the inconveniences and lack of education in the past three months. All final-year students will be graduated, and a prom party as well as an award ceremony will be held on Sunday, 29th September 2024. School will officially begin on 30th September 2024. Sorry for the inconveniences once again, and congratulations to our finals."*
Aria stared at the message in disbelief. So, they were graduating after all. After months of uncertainty, the school had finally decided to acknowledge them. But while her classmates might be ecstatic about the news, her mind was elsewhere—Selene.
Her thoughts churned. Even if Colin's revelation was true and Selene was among the dead, there was no way Selene could have come back on her own. Someone had to have helped her. But who?
