The guest room was cold and unwelcoming, far from the warmth I had once known in Magnus's embrace. He wouldn't let me anywhere near him now, his rejection cutting deeper than any physical wound. As I sat on the edge of the bed, lost in my thoughts, a sudden ripple in the air made me stiffen.

I turned quickly, startled to see Sylvaine standing in the corner of the room. Her presence was both unexpected and unsettling.

"Sylvaine," I breathed, clutching my chest to steady my racing heart. "You scared me."

She stepped closer, her face serious, her ethereal glow casting an otherworldly light in the dim room. "Aria," she said, her voice firm yet gentle, "Morgana is far more cunning than you realize. She may appear to have disappeared, but it's a ploy. She's waiting for the right moment to strike."

I frowned, her words sending a chill through me. What do I do then?"
