Eden Academy. Prestigious adventurers, nobles and those who wish to wish to expand their skills pass what the basics even a knight would know, and after half a season, here I am.
22 days overcoming the hells of Peru-Mono dark forest is much I wouldn't recommend unless it's necessary. On the bright side I gained over 60 gold with all the high tier creatures I've slain there. I can finally pay for triple my debt with all this gold.
The entrance is nothing but majestic to say the least, the academy outer walls itself are larger than a regular town, maybe the size of a city port from Perudia west coast. The reception counter is full of adventurers applying for the trials. Best I could explain is that the tier 2s are literal brick wall, not that I've never destroyed any.
A grueling two hours passed and I'm off to my room. As of the trials, its only necessary for instant class associations system to get in the dungeons as fast as possible.
The dormitories were a ten-minute walk away from the main building, a full map confirming my expected size around a city port. My dorm room number... 1722. Should be around the corner, why is goddess are these dorms so large to begin with.
Â
Thump…
Â
I felt an uneasy feeling when I turned the corner, I couldn't put anything but the obvious guy just in front of me. He's tall, like, I could only see his chest before I jumped a few steps away out of recoil. Red haired, muscular, is he chiseled?!
"Are you done staring?" He stared down at me clearly unfazed by my coincidence. His eyes were dark orange, his face cold and sharp with a cut mark across his left cheek.
Â
I took a deep breath and stood more casually, "s-sorry about that." Without a thought, I stormed away before I could make a mess of myself yet again.
Is this what girls call butterflies futtering?!
Finally, found my room after a while. The room itself is modest as it is. A bed to sleep in, a desk, the room itself is a calm green you'd find in inns and what not, clearly the target students are in fact travelers at best.
A mirror standing beside the window overlooking the back of the academy campus. I gave myself a good look at the mirror, my lavender eyes, light blue hair just over my shoulders. I wore a crop top leather overshirt and sleeveless brown shirt just underneath.
The black cut like birthmarks that cuts over my cheeks and over my eyelid, a constant reminder. Then again, I look like an outcast with how unnatural my color pallets are. I look majestic and I know it.
Â
A nametag on the table already prepared for me, "Anasta," at least they're kind enough to write it properly.
Â
Knock knock…
Â
A feminine voice came through the door, "Sir, the trials arena is prepared."
"In a minute!" A smile creeped on my face, I'm afraid, but I'm prepared for the worse. I've faced wyverns triple my size during my trip in Mono-Arad, "Stand tall, Anasta… you can't run away now."
###
Maybe I'm asking a lot, but… "This doesn't feel fair…" The elemental wood golem stood over me like any titan, a treant or familiar? The only difference is that the golem was modified. Not that I've never faced one, but wood golems are far rarer than your everyday treant in Perudia.
Â
I turned to the 5 spectators in the 3rd row of seat, or rather swordsman's examining my every movement to make perfect assumption which role I'm better off in. Elves? I can't tell from their distant outline.
The golem started to march towards me making the dirt underneath me tremble with its steps, whipping my head to face it once again.
Â
I've held back on using my willpower due to the cost, but if I wish to enter the class I want then I need to go all out. The golem is now just steps away, crouching down until my fingers could touch the dirt below my foot as two swords were formed beside both of my shoulders out of blue crystal-like sheaths that were frozen from the air.
The blades danced around me before I held onto one and was blitzed away from the golems sight and sent above it, the other blade striking its evident vines as a large chunk of its back plating became loose. Letting go of the first sword while landing on the golems back before it returns and slices the vines off the golems back wooden plates.
I kicked it away revealing the softer roots underneath and the core just inside, "Bingo." Jumping off its back as another 3 swords formed just off my arms, landing on the dirt with a little misstep before swaying my hand and pointing at the opened weak spot. Watching as the 5 blades flew and ripped through the golems body until one pierced the core, the vines retracting and the wood plates falling down with the broken core dropping with a thud.
Â
Â
"Dammit…" I felt the muscles on my legs tearing by a fraction, the side effects of using willpower are that it'll tear you slowly until you can't fight. This wouldn't be the last nor is it the first of this.
"Beginning tier two golem." A voice came out of the microphone and before I know it, the core I had taken care off evaporated from my view while the larges gates opened to reveal 3 rock golems. "Commence when the adventurer is ready."
Â
I took a deep breath, the blades now locked onto each of the golems. If I hadn't depleted all of my willpower yesterday due to a wild warp gate opening in the midst of my travel, I could last until a bit longer than I circumstances would like to say.
 I'm in a disadvantage that's for sure.
With a deep breath, I crouched down until my left knee barely reach the surface before springing up with a blitz. Handling the sword in swift motion, all I had to do is strike their weakpoints.
In a blink, my sword had ripped the external vines keeping the golem together at the cost of the blade shattering. Another two of the blades flew in a flash to take advantage of the golems near decapitation, before I knew it the golem fell into dozens of rocks.
The other two saw me, turning to face me while the external vines went to envelope the fallen pebbles. My blades moved to tear them before it could continue, taking another sword in my hands when.
Plop.
My body fell limp, the swords vanishing into thin air like ice evaporating into steam, the golems stopped, towering over before returning to the gates.
"Test complete." Said through the microphone as two healer mages entered the arena to assist me up.
Goddess, please tell me i get a class worth my time...
