Char spoke honestly.
He wasn't putting on an act, nor was he trying to buy someone's—or rather, some creature's—favor, and he certainly wasn't using any PUA techniques. He was truly reflecting on himself and genuinely felt that he had made a mistake.
After all, even though he knew that the Land of Undead was likely to have newly arisen Intermediate Undead, and that the Thunder Night Dragon was young, impetuous, and immature,
he had failed to keep a close eye on the Thunder Night Dragon, allowing it to accidentally fly too deep and become surrounded by the Undead.
He must have got a bit carried away subconsciously.
If there were mistakes to be made, he was certainly part of them.
Upon hearing Char say this, the Thunder Night Dragon was taken aback. After a while, it nudged its head over and affectionately nuzzled Char several times.
"Alright, everyone go play!"
Char patted the Thunder Night Dragon's neck and said to the group of Magic Pets, then he looked for Freyja.
