I suddenly turned around and, amazingly, saw the great "Elvis Presley" himself!
For a moment, I was in a daze, thinking I had been so angered that I'd traveled back in time to set eyes upon the real figure of the rock star who had influenced the world in the fifties. But just as I was so excited I could barely catch my breath, Elvis gave me a smile - that smile was so familiar, it instantly reminded me of my birthday night a month ago.
Today, he wasn't dressed as Superman but in Elvis's most iconic look, a tight, white, wide-collared shirt, only the top two buttons done up, matching trousers, snug around the hips and flaring at the legs, the outfit bedazzled with sequins, his hair styled in a high pompadour, long sideburns, and dark sunglasses perched on his face.
"Big sister, how have you been?" he suavely tossed three hundred bucks onto the table and took my arm, and I was so thunderstruck by his outfit that I forgot to resist.
