"Maybe I should go first? I can go home and pack some clothes so we don't waste time," I blinked, looking at him with hopeful eyes.
For all he said was, "Dream on." Then he stood up, dragged me to a door, and without showing any gentleness, shoved me in. Following that, "beep beep beep," he frantically pressed something against the wall, locking the door from the outside.
I rushed to the door, hammered on it with all my might, and screamed for him to let me out, but he simply ignored me. I looked around and saw a very advanced electronic lock inside the room, but since I didn't know the code, my frantic pressing was just a futile venting of frustration. In the end, I resigned myself to my fate; after all, he couldn't keep me locked in there forever.
