I had to figure out a way to resign. Dragging it out like this was truly nerve-racking. Strangely, Liu Liu said my resignation had to be approved by both Vice President Lins, but even though I saw them every day, I never managed to bring it up, whether because the timing or place wasn't right, or by some fluke, there just wasn't an opportunity.
