Mary Davis stared at the slender hand in a moment of distraction.
Then she saw the door being pushed open.
Uncle Davis couldn't help but turn his head to look, only to see a man standing outside.
Upon seeing him, several people in the room were startled.
Because they all recognized this man, he was Ellis Olsen, Young Master Olsen's assistant. He stood there, his gaze sweeping over those present, finally resting on Mary Davis: "Young Master Olsen is dining in the next room and asked me to come say hello, Miss Davis, are you all right?"
Uncle Davis was immediately taken aback.
