The driver of the Horton family's old mansion had been waiting here until the flowers had withered.
He originally intended to deliver the express package to Fiona and leave, but Mr. Horton insisted that he hand it over to Lewis Horton personally!
So, he ended up waiting here all day long.
Fiona said that Mr. Horton usually came back by noon, but just today he hadn't returned. He had driven back late last night, utterly exhausted.
They all sat outside, dozing off in the sunlight!
The driver rubbed his eyes, handed the express package to Lewis Horton, and immediately went to sleep in the room Fiona had arranged for him!
Lewis Horton was slightly startled.
He looked down at the express package in his hands but felt nothing.
The express delivery was made directly, so there were no names written on it.
