One of the girls, standing near the center of the group, knelt down and touched the blood-soaked ground.
Her eyes widened slightly as her fingers ran across the sticky crimson that had begun to seep into the soil.
"Damn it…" she cursed under her breath, her voice laced with irritation and disbelief.
"The dragon's dead!"
The others didn't say anything, but their silence spoke volumes.
They stood still, their expressions grim as they stared at the aftermath of the carnage.
The earth was torn asunder, cracks and crevices spiderwebbing across the ground.
One of the older men narrowed his eyes and muttered...
"This wasn't the work of ordinary people. Whoever did this… must be eliminated before they interfere further."
The girl clenched her fist, her knuckles turning white as she glared at the blood-soaked battlefield.
"Find them..." she said, her voice cold and commanding.
