Jacob lowered the note Elara had written for him, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips. He thought about how Lady Luck, or perhaps fate itself, had been so generous to him. To be blessed with such incredible women, who loved him unconditionally, was more than he'd ever hoped for.
"What does it say?" Angela asked, stepping closer and glancing at the note in his hands.
Jacob turned to her, his grin widening. "Your daughters have left us alone tonight. Elara and Lily want to make sure I take care of you properly, as you deserve."
Angela blushed furiously but couldn't help smiling. "Oh, did they now?" She reached out, her fingers interlacing with his. "So," she said, her voice barely above a breath, "what are we waiting for?"
